Yesterday my little ladies turned 3 months old and I took some video of them playing 'together' in their activity center. I put 'together' in quotes because they rarely acknowledge each other. Sometimes when one is screaming the other will look in the general direction of the screaming, but this may just be coincidence.

Anyway, after I put away the camera they were still playing nicely in the activity center. I took this opportunity to finish making dinner in the kitchen. Two minutes later I hear Ana screaming! I run into the livingroom and Meara is *sucking* on the back of Ana's head while Ana lays there crying!!! It really was quite funny and if Ana weren't so upset, I would have grabbed the camera to catch the moment, but my poor girl was NOT happy to have her sister attached to her head! Guess Ana got a little too close and Meara thought her hair might taste good. I picked Ana up and Meara just looked up at us like "What? She tastes good!" Too funny!

Its these little moments that I worry I won't remember. What moments did you wish you had captured so you don't forget them? Also at what age did your twins actually look at each and acknowledge the other's presence? Are mine weird because they don't interact or is this normal? -Leighann

So cute! My babies started to really notice each other around 5-6 months. Now they giggle at each other, it is the most precious thing I have ever seen!! I am never quick enough to get it on video though!

The first time I actually faced them together - they CRACKED up and giggled a ton. (they had been usually facing me, instead of each other.) They were about 4 months old. They still laugh a lot when they look at each other - provided they aren't trying to get whatever toy the other one has. :)

mine started at least LOOKING at eachother maybe a month ago or so (5.5-6 months) and just now are starting to look at eachother and laugh at eachother. before that, they seemed to have NO CLUE another human being existed outside mommy and daddy. now they look at eachother and like to grab eachother's faces and hair (which is ok sometimes, till SOMEONE gets a LITTLE too rough!)
i at some point need to get video of them playing on the floor, becuase no matter WHAT or HOW MANY toys i have in front of lincoln, he MUST have whatever C is playing with. he also always pulls her pacifier out of her mouth, and she jsut kind of sits there puckered wondeirng "what the?!?!?" and his is still in his own mouth! little punk, that's what i call him
i'm sure there is no way to remember every little cute thing, but i just try to savor every little moment best as I can! ican't believe how fast time is flyign!!!

THey probably noticed each other around 4 months. They could care less about each other until around 8/9 months. And now finally, they laugh together (not all the time!) and notice what the other is doing throughout the day.

My girls still like to suck on each others heads, feet, hands, faces, etc...
They *found* each other at 4 months and 1 day. Now they wake up in the mornings and *play* together for a long time before deciding they want out of bed. It's fun.
If there is something that I absolutely never want to forget about, I put it on the website I have for the kids and then once a month I go through and right everything down in their baby books and in a journal.

Both babies were crying in the crib the other night while I finished getting their older sister to bed. My DH went in to check on them and came out of the room laughing. DD was holding DS foot in her hand pinching it and screaming while DS screamed b/c someone kept pinching his foot.
My babies still don't really acknowledge each other yet. Sometimes they look at each other and coo, but I think it is just coincedence. Usually DS is crying and DD is staring at him as if to say "what's your problem?" but that is probably just me projecting lol.

I wish I had video of Sean's scrunched nose smile. His teeth are so cute!

My girls noticed each other a day or two before they turned 4 months. They started interacting about 5-6 months.

Emma used to do what we called "the butt" when she got out of her car seat. We would pick her up and her back would be arched with her legs pulled in and her butt sticking way out because she was stretching. We would never think of getting the camera or videotaping it until she did it and then it was too late. Very bummed we didn't get that. I too have a website with a journal and I am constantly taking pictures and have lots of dead air on the video camera - just waiting for them to do it again! So I may not have every memory documented but I'm trying hard to get most of them.

Maybe you can buy a notebook and start jotting these things down or just open a Word document and type in a quick note when something like this happens. You would by surprised how quickly the pages fill up!

More of me and the babes. It always seems like I am the one taking the pictures/video and so when I was looking back at everything we've taken it looks like I wasn't even there!
