Funny story

My step-mom was traveling north and decided to stop in for a few hours today and see the babies.

While she was here we went to Mcdonalds to have lunch and so the kids could play. There was another lady, her 15 month old and her husband sitting 2 tables down. The lady was very friendly.
After the kids, my mom & I were done eating we got up and my mom noticed the lady kept starring at me. Behind my back (while I was getting the kids out of the high chairs) my step mom was moving her hand in a circular motion by her ear saying "shes crazy I know". She was smiling, but I think she was trying to break the stares and dropped jaw look of the woman staring at me 7 months pregnant with my 18 month twins in tow when the lady backed up from her table and said " ME TOO!" LOL!!! Here the lady was also pregnant. Shes been so worried about how shes going to manage with her little one being just 15 months old and was in complete shock when she saw me much larger than her and managing 2 of them.

I smiled and told her not to worry she would be fine, but the look on my moms face when she realized that lady was pregnant as well was priceless!

 

That is funny! I get the "you have your hands full" line a lot so when I tell people we have one more on the way, they about fall over. What's especially funny to me is to see these parents with their one baby walking through the store, looking exhausted, and then they see me with two babies by myself and they give me this smile that says "and I thought I was busy." Gotta' love it.

 

HA HA HA...that is hilarious!!!! I needed that laugh!

 

Ahh, you were in the right place at a perfect time! I bet she needed to see you handling your own situation so she could know she would be alright. I love moments like that. And LOL about your step-mom. Did she say anything to you after you left?

 

She was embarrassed! she couldn't believe the lady was pregnant too (since we couldn't see her belly under the table) and was glad the lady was a good sport about it and didn't take my moms comment as if my mom was calling her crazy.
although I think my mom was shocked and relieved immediately afterwards hence the priceless look on her face.
