Tonight Finley was cuddling on the couch with our dog, Delilah. I hear him oohing and ahhing over her - "Good girl, Lilah. Good dog. I love you." etc. Then I hear, "Mommy?"

    Me: Yes?

Finley: Is Lilah a dog or a girl?

Me: Is she a dog OR a girl?

    Finley: Yeah

Me: She's actually a dog AND a girl. You can be both.

    Finley: Oh, okay.

My girls asked my dad Sunday how did he know bolo was a boy and pita was a girl. He turned red and my little sister pops off boy dogs are black and girl dogs are white(which the dogs in question are and my SO's male dog is black too). Luckily the accepted that

    These are too funny!
My DS will usually ask whenever we go somewhere, if they can bring their vacuums out for him. He is obsessed with vacuums and loves to look at them but doesn't want to see them in action

Ava and Addison are always asking me about the time when they were boys! Having a baby boy in the house has really been confusing for them LOL!! We went through their clothes the other day and Ava wanted to keep one of her favorite sun dresses for when Easton gets to be a girl LOL!! So apparently we are all born boys and grow up to be girls LOL! I asked Ava what the difference between boys and girls is just out of curiosity and she said in a duh kind of voice boys have short hair LOL! Which is funny because I have short hair!!

I thought of this thread today!
I was making an eye doctor appointment for the whole family and DD overheard her and her brother's name being mentioned.
    So she blurts out,
"They're not going to take my eyes out???"
I tried very hard not to laugh and assured her that is not what happens at the eye doctor's office.
Lesson learned: make appointments when children are napping.
