I'm heading back to the hospital tomorrow where I'll be until 32 weeks. After my appt this week, my peri was very concerned about my shortening cervix, increasing contractions and positive ffn test. My OB was ok with letting me continue on at home, but peri is concerned that Level III nursery is over 30 minutes away. So......I'm siding with the peri and taking a more conservative approach. I feel it's the best thing for the babies, but I'm having a hard time leaving my 6 and 8 year old girls at home. :(

If I make it to 32 weeks, I get to come home, since the local hospital will be able to care for the babies after that time.

All I can say, is they better have internet access, 'cause what am I going to do without TS???

Darn I am sorry you have to head into the hospital. At least it's only for a few weeks. Good luck!

Sorry you are going back to the hospital. You have a great attitude about it though. Keep those babies growing as long as possible.

Hang in there. Hospital bedrest is REALLY hard, but it is the best thing for the babies. It would have beeen extra, extra hard if I had little ones at home. Hopefully those babies keep cooking many more weeks, and those weeks fly by.

I'm thinking of you. . . I might be in the hospital soon tooas my doc's last words to me at out last week appt. was, " if yiu start to rip into your cerclage stitches, you're going to be in the hospital on bedrest." It's already way too short down there. I wish I was as far along as you and didn't have TTTS too!

    I wish you well!

So sorry you are on hospital bedrest...I was on it for 7 1/2 weeks, it sucks. I am not going to sugar coat that at all.
However, it is best for the babies, and years later you forget that agony when those two smiley faces are there to hug!

I was put on hospital bedrest and had to leave behind a 3 year old and 6 year old. It was the night before my oldest child started first grade. :cray: It was very very hard. I am sorry you are going through this difficult time. Now my babies will be starting first grade  Before you know it you will be home with your family. Get a calendar and every morning put a big X through another day. Hang in there!!

I was put on hospital bed rest from 23 1/2 weeks until 32 weeks! Once I got sent home, I was there for 4 days and
went into the labor. All the Dr.'s said that there is somthing about being home that makes us not do so well vs.
if we are in the hospital. That is of my cervix issue as well. So I've been there! I have a 2yr old and my Mom had
to come take care of her for all that time- 2 months! And she lives 3 1/2 hrs away. It was tuff on all of us.
It was hard, but you have to keep thinking to stay strong for those babies! I was having more and more contractions starting at 30 weeks. My Mom thinks that if I stayed in the hospital that I would of cooked them a little longer. But ya know what--- they are here-- born 32 weeks 2 days and all is well! They are home now. They were in NICU for 2 1/2
weeks but that gave me the time to recover from my c-section and my body was sore from all the bed rest. So hang in there for a little longer Mama! The hardest is trying to get your children to understand I'm sure. I kept telling my
daughter that I was there because I was cooking babies. She would walk down the hall way and tell all the nurses that
"Mommy is here cooking babies". Too cute. Stay strong...it is a long time, but a short time if you know what I mean.
