    Hi girls,

Just wanted to update you. I went in yesterday for my 35 week appointment. Everything is still going good. These last three weeks on bedrest have really been great for me and the babies. He said that if I were to go into labor now he wouldn't stop it. I will stay on the procardia for 1 more week than stop. I can now use "common sense" to decide what I can and can't do. I can even drive on quick errands and do some light house cleaning. After I come off the procardia next week if I haven't gone into labor by 37 weeks (April 24) he will strip my membranes to try to move me along. He said unless there is a medical reason he can't legally induce me before 39 weeks! I couldn't believe that. I've had friends pregnant with one baby induced before that but he said it is new legislation due to liability issues. So all he can do is strip my membranes and take away my meds to see if that puts me into labor before May 8th. I am pleased and will still be taking it easy for at least another week or so. I want to make sure the babies lungs get the time they need to greet the world. I am so glad that I went on bedrest so that I could give my babies the best growing environment possible. Good Luck on each of your bed rest journeys and you continue to be in my prayers that your babies all "cook" as long as possible.

Hooray!!! Enjoy your freedom! I've been at this for a few weeks now, but would love to just run to Target to grab a few things we need, or make myself a snack without having to ask for it! Perhaps another 8 weeks....we'll see!!!! In the meantime....Enjoy!

I remember when I was preggo with the twins, I about lost my mind with pain and contractions. At about 36 weeks I cried and begged to take them out. My doc said if I didn't have them by 38 weeks she would induce. Luckily that night I went into labor and went the hospital and she broke my water because I kept dialating. I basically at that point stopped my bedrest. Not like I was out dancing or anything, but went shopping that day after a long time of using the motorized carts.
