    Several Questions:

    1. Do you have any refrigerator toys for your kids to play with? I had letter magnets as a kid, but there must be something better than that out now.
    2. What are your favorite fridge toys?
    3. Does it help keep your kids from hauling all the pot and pans and tupperware out of your cabinets or is this a foolish thought. :)

    1. I have leapfrog letter toys, word whammer, and farm animal thingy.
    2. I'm not a fan of them because all they do is carry them around the entire house.
    3. The only thing that kept mine out of the cabinets was cabinet locks. Believe me, I tried lots of things because buying and installing locks.

i too had great hopes for the refridgerator toys, but their favorite game is to run up and one by one throw the letters onto the kitchen floor so that i step on them while i'm trying to make dinner...

i ditto the locks, once they see they can't get into any cabinets they usually waunder into the play rooms anyway....

We have the Leap Frog matching Farm animal fridge set. Most of the pieces are already lost or behind the fridge already. It does not keep them out the cabinets at all, we had to put locks on the doors.

    1. We have the Leap Frog Letter/Alphabet one and the Farm Animals one. They do like to push the button so it plays the songs and they'll sing along.

    2. Those are the only ones we have.

    3. It does not keep them out of the cabinets, it does provide several minutes of "free time" while they toss them all over the kitchen floor and down the steps into our sunken family room.

1.) We have the Leap Frog Farm Animals one and the Vehicles one. They like to press the buttons so the music plays and they dance.

2.) Only ones we have as well. Although I did see the Alphabet one and REALLY wanted to get that one tonight...

3.) It does not keep them out of the cabinets. Their favorite cabinet being the one with 100 utensils they like to take out of the drawer multiple times a day! And the pieces from the fridge magnets are all over the house as well...

I trip on the Leap Frog letters all the time! They kind of drive me nuts, and I think we have about 5 letters left. My boys are much more interested in our friends' plastic magnetic letters than in the Leap Frog thing on our fridge... but that could also be the novelty factor! For as excited as I was about the fridge toy, it's been more of a frustration than anything.

You've all convinced me to skip the fridge toys. Thanks. :)
