Freebies For Twins?

Hi:
I know some companies offer freebies for families of multiples but I was wondering if any of you got such thing? I know Pampers offers that but wasn't sure if it's valid, do any of you Moms know about this? Thanks

 

Gosh, it's been a couple of years, but you can call Pampers, Huggies, Evenflo, Gerbers, etc and tell them you have twin babies and were told they have some type of twin promotion. I was asked for birth dates and only one of the companies asked for some type of written verification from the hospital confirming a twin birth. Mostly we got coupons. If I remember correctly, the coupons from Gerber, Johnson & Johnson, and Huggies were the best. They had coupons for $5 off, or free items up to $5 and we got 8-10 of those from J&J. One of the formula companies will give you a case of free formula if your doctor notifies the rep that you have twins. If you call the formula company, they will tell you exactly how to go about getting it. My kids were all BF so I didn't take advantage of that offer, but it sounded like an awesome one.

I'm sorry I am not more help. I'm surprised no-one else responded to your post because it was on TS that I heard about special deals for twins. Did you post your question on the first year forum? Someone on there may be able to offer you more help.

 

beechnut sent me bibs and tons of coupons. gerber too. earths best still occassionally sends me coupons, thankfully my sons love their cookies. Some stores, like walmart if you go to a manager and boying two expensive, same item stuff, will give a slight discount. I saved 10 dollars on the second high chair. They even assembled them.

Enfamil sent me a case of each of the twins formula too. One was on lipil and the other was on the preemie one they have.

That's all I can remember at the moment.

I never got anything. The only thing I signed up for was formula and the pedi was the only one that gave me that!

 

I got lots of stuff. I wrote to everyone on the "multiples freebies list", sent birth certificates, and got responses from almost all the companies. Evenflo sent bottles and teethers, Enfamil sent a free case of formula for each baby, I got toys from somewhere else (can't remember where....), higher value coupons from Huggies and Pampers and also good coupons from Gerber and Beechnut. I'm pretty sure there's a link here on TS in the Twin Wiki that has a list of all companies who participate and what they'll send.

 

Tiny love did buy one get one free on their toys for mulitples. I was able to send everything in by email (birth certificates) and ordered everything direct from them. We had a TON of their toys. There was a hand full of other things we were able to get but it was so long ago, I don't remember them all.
