so... this morning I am standing there with my first cup of coffee and disheveled hair  , doing my usual morning routine of trying to get everyone happy quickly. i stopped and actually took a second to take a slow look around my house to see my oldest DD doing gymnastics in the dining room yelling about a bowl of cereal and exactly what kind of juice she wanted, baby A screaming in her bouncy seat for HER breakfast, and baby B screaming her little head off because she rolled over on her stomach and she couldnt turn back over. I had a flashback of my relatively short life ( im 23) and the role i have now taken on as a mother of three, and its almost like it just started sinking in!! i just looked at them all like "Who the heck are you guys and where did you come from?"

im pretty amazed in how well ive adapted to the growing good natured chaos that has moved into my house!! :D

Wow, lindsay - all of that wisdom and you're only 23? Good for you!! Seriously - awareness and a sense of humor make all the difference. All three of your children are very lucky to have you for a mommy!

I've had these moments before too and I'm 32 and only have 2 kids. Dh and I say all the time (in a conspiratory whisper) "I don't think they are leaving, ever! Where did they come from?!"

Funny! I said to my husband the other night, "Where did all of these little people come from?"

I am the same way. I have those same moment where how did I go from a laid back "party girl" to an overprotected mother of 3. I just turned 26 and feel like i just turned 40. :) It is amazing how you change so quickly to accomodate our lives!!

Yeah we sure have to change with life as a mom, especially twins. I am sure it will only get more crazy as they get older.

I have these moments too. It is truly hard to figure out how I got here sometimes, but I don't think I'd change it for anything :D !
