FP smart cycle

Okay old DS turns 3 the end of Jan and DH and I are in disagreement about if he is ready for the smart cycle! My excuse is if we don't get it for him now it will have to wait until he is almost 4 (the age range starts at 3)
Any advice would be wonderful do kids love it? I think it would be a great toy for when brothers are napping..oldest doesn't nap any more so he has 3 hours of special time in the afternoon!

Mine are 3.5 and got it for Christmas. My ds absolutely loves the fp smart cycle and loves to play it and will stay on it for hours if you let him. He's a video junkie though but he'll pedal for a long time so he's gets a workout. My dd on the other hand really doesn't care much for video games, she'll try it for a minute and decide she has enough. She's happy to watch her brother play.

 

you might take him to TRU and let him play with it first. we decided to wait until four for any video games. they are getting the hand helds so they can take them with us on long car rides and such. this is just a fight I am not quite ready to deal with yet. The limiting of play.
