We were at Grandma's pool today & Luke had no interest in swimming. Well, Grandpa gave him a spray bottle of water set on mist (that he uses to mist his plants) and Luke carried that thing around misting everything he could find for probably close to 2 hours. Cheap, functional, and easy!

Good idea! Until they start spraying each other, the dogs, mommy...but in this heat who cares! We need a way to keep cool while playing outside. I like it!

Great idea!! My girls love to use one too. Of course, most of the time they grab the one we use for the cat, and start spraying the house. <_<

I bought these recently for $1 at Wal-Mart when my kids wanted to help me wash the table using cleaning supplies. I obviously wouldn't let them use the cleaning supplies. The bottles never made it in the house because they had fun with them outside. They still enjoy squirting with them; however, they aren't as interesting as they once were . . . just like every other "toy."

Another good trick is give them a paint brush and let them paint with water. You can also draw with rocks.
