We got our anatomy ultrasound done today, and Baby A is now a little Baby Boy, and Baby B is a little Baby Girl! One of each!!!

Now we have to figure out kind of neutral nursery ideas, and finish our name co-ordination for the little ones! We had solid ideas of same genders, but the mixed gender scenario was never set in stone!

Anyway, it was a great and settling appointment, but the ultrasound tech said that the placenta sort of made it look like I was having contractions but that didn't mean I was necessarily, and then I told her I had been wondering if I was because I was feeling weird tightening and pressure in my lower abdomen especially when on my feet or working a lot. She told me to talk to my doctor at my appointment Monday. I might end up on bed rest :/

In more bright news, however, we may have spotted the mini-van I want and we might be able to afford!

Congrats on joining the b/g club! I swore I was having two boys before my scan. We did a classic pooh (mint green) color theme in their nursery.

Yay B/G twins!! I'm only a little bit biased but I think that's really the best combo. :)
We did our nursery in yellow and blue--I think you can do blue for a girl as well and mixed with yellow and white, it looks pretty neutral.
    Congrats!!

Congrats! How exciting. We did our nursery in Sesame Street. We never really found out that both of ours were girls but it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

YEAH! Congrats! How fun. Drink a ton of water and sit with your feet up as much as possible to stop those "tightenings". They could just be Braxton Hicks which don't change your cervix. Good luck!

Congratulations!!! How exciting. You'll have so much fun getting ready for them now. And thumbs up on the minivan... I *really* didn't want one, but even with just one kiddo so far, it is SUPER convenient.

Good luck on Monday, hope you don't have to go on bedrest! There are other ways to work on those contractions first, though. Fingers crossed!

    Yayyyy another B/G combo!

We just did their rooms in colors, a light blue and a sage green. The furniture was white, but we painted the dresser with the same light blue and sage green. It was easier for us that way. :D

Congrats and welcome to the b/g club! It's so much fun having one of each, and seeing how totally different their little personalities are is amazing! We did the nursery in a "seafoam" green color. We already had a honey oak crib, so we used it for our boy, and bought a white crib for our girl!

same here!! We did the nursery in Froggy Tales - it was yellow and green and it was neutral enough for both and cute enough for any baby!

Congrats! We did the nursery in bright colors and a monkey bedding that we found that was based in a bright green. We used the bright green and bright blue sheets on ds's crib and bright green and bright pink bedding on dd. Then the rainforest Fisher Price stuff started matching well and we got those mobiles and now it is blue and pink with the monkey theme which I think works well for both!
