Found out the sex

At first I really wanted boy's than I started to think about all the pretty and beautiful things that are out for girls and really wanted to girls. Yesterday I went for my ultrasound and founs out that I was having two boys :banana: I am glad because boys love there mommies so much! Twin a was really calm during the ultrasound but twin b was all over the place and when she went back to find out the sex he did a complete flip, it was so funny. I figure he is going to be the wild one, they were both the same weught twin a was .53 oz and twin b was .54 and there are in seperate sacks.

Yeah for the blue team!!! Congratualtions! When I found out, Baby B was the one calm and showing it all, for a change. He was the one that was squirming around the first 2 u/s! Baby A was all over the place that time. Mine seem to take turns! I guess boys will be boys... from the VERY beginning!!

I went to my first peri appointment today, at 15 weeks preggers. I found out that I am having b/g twins. They are measuring one week ahead and weigh five onces. Additionally, I was elated to see that my cervix is long more than five cms ( want to stay as far as possible away from bed rest).

I really wanted to have identical girls. However, I new I was leaning more towards frats because I have three sets on my moms side. Well, at least I get the best of both worlds.

Of course, I must say that boys ROCK!!! I am biased, though, and have no evidence that girls don't . Of course, expecting the fifth and sixth boys of my blended family (my third and fourth) disappointed Eric's mama a WHOLE LOT. I guess I feel the need to defend my babies. And what else matters as long as they are healthy, right?

I guess all that matters is that healthy children are born.

I too have a blended family. I have two stepchildren; five year old girl and a ten year old boy that I am raising. However, these twins are the first children of my own. I really love my stepchildren as if they are my own. I sometimes wonder if having two new babies will change the dynamics of our relationship.

I just want us all to be a big happy family. I have a feeling that my five year old will be jealous at times becuase she always gets jealous when her cousins take my attention away from her. I realize that all I can do is do my best.

I have to say when I found out I was having identical twins and people ask if I wanted girls this time I said… “if I could pick I would pick boys… but I know girls have their good point too…” but it is true my boy loves his mama… when we were all having the naming discussion, my son always took my side… and my husband finally said… your mom could want to name one of these boys poop and because it was your mom you would side with her… but that just backfired… because we then joked that we wanted to name them poop and pee… got to love 9 year old humor…
I always felt like I was having boys and was almost like “old news” when he said they were boys…. But if I’m told one more time by my family that having 3 boys mean I should be nominated for saint hood I don’t know what I may do…
