Currently using a mason jar and a spoon. It is getting pretty old spilling all over when trying to pour. I see Dr. Brown's has a formula mixing pitcher. Any recommendations? Thanks.

My babies are on different formulas so I don't have to make too big of a pitcher. But, one of their formulas is a pain to mix. It clumps pretty badly and doesn't disolved particularly well. So I bought a small hand held drink mixer (like for shakes and smoothies) and it is fabulous. The baby ones I looked at were super cheapy, but I found one at vitamin shop that is fabulous, and still inexpensive.

I have 2 pitchers - use them everyday to get the bottles ready for day care.

don't know what I would do without them. It really speeds things up getting ready.

We had two pitchers too at one point, just the BRU ones. They worked well and served the purpose! I loved making it in big batches.

We have the Dr. Brown's pitcher and love it. I ordered it off the internet and didn't realize there was a cheaper version till later. I'm sure those work just as well. Pampered Chef also has a pitcher with a plunger in it like dr. brown's, not sure on price. The pitcher makes getting bottles ready for daycare sooo easy!

we used the magic bullet blender system and then just poured the completed formula into any old pitcher. Worked great for us!

I don't use pitchers... They hate cold formula and it's a pain to get the bottles to warm up, so I just mix the bottles when it's time to feed. Honestly I've found that if you put the cap on the bottle and shake really well up and down, there is no lump. Gentle Ease was always more lumpy than the rest but this way it still mixes up nicely... no need to warm it and it saves room in the fridge!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE using a pitcher.

When I individually mix their formula in a bottle there is way too "froth". The girls will not take much of a bottle when it is like that. However, with the pitcher it catches all of that before it gets into the bottle.

    Again. LOVE it!

(I think we have a BRU one. I only make enough for two bottles at a time and wash out after each use, but we are down to 4 (so 8) bottles a day and I don't mind washing it 4 times. If it was in the beginning (we used RTF) I would have purchased more!)

Same here. I use a Rubbermaid pitcher and a wire whisk. Works beautifully and saves so much time - especially for getting the bottles ready for daycare.
