I never tried Enfamil Premium but we did use Similac, we started off with the Advance and then switched to Similac Sensitive because both of ours had issues with gas.

We started out with Enfamil and it constipated the babies... we switched to good start protect plus and DS is still on it... DD is on Similac Alimentum for a protein sensitivity. :/

We use Similac - they started on Neosure in the NICU and went to Similac advanced - tried going to Costco and that didnt go over well so went back to Similac.

We started with Enfamil because that's what they used in the nursery (not NICU, if that makes a difference), then switched to Similac Advance because they sell it at Costco. I didn't notice any change. But then we just stuck with that because we were afraid to mess with it. We also added simethicone (generic Mylicon) to every bottle, and often Gripe Water too. I have no idea if it helped.

started on similac neosure then transitioned to similac advanced. if you read the ingredients and nutrients information similac and enfamil are almost identical. and you know what? they're almost identical to target brand formula.

formula is the most regulated produce in the US. ultimately there is very little difference between brand and generic formulas, aside from milling. which just means you might have to stir more.

we threw a lot of money down the drain on brand formula before switching to target brand. didn't make a whisper of a difference to the boys.

We started on Enfamil because that's what they got in the nursery at the hospital. We switched Abby to Similac after a few weeks to see if it would help with the spitting up. It did seem to help for some reason so we kept her on Similac and Ellie on Enfamil until we used up what was left of the Enfamil. Now they are both on Similac with no problems so far. We are going to try the generic brand next because it is a lot cheaper.

I used Enfamil with DS1 and the twins. Mostly because it was sold at Costco (so is Similac) and I always received coupons from Enfamil for it. Most of the time they are $5 off coupons. At about 6 weeks, I had to switch Kyle to Enfamil A.R. because he had major spit-up issues. A.R. helps a ton! I sometimes buy BRU generic for A.R. and he does just fine on it. Did you get your two free cases from your Pedi's office yet?

The girls were started on Enfamil in the NICU, but at about 2 1/2 months I was tired of spending so much $$ so I asked their doctor and he was all for switching to the Target brand. Never had any problems with it at all.

The girls came home from the hospital on Similac Neosure but we switched to Similac Sensitive when they became "term" age because it seemed as though their little tummys couldn't handle the Neosure. We've also tried switching to Wal-Marts Parent Choice Sensitivity, to save a little money, but that only constipated them. So we're back to Similac Sensitive and seems to be working great with them!

We started out with Similac Advance in the hospital, but DS1 was spitting up so we switched to Similac Isomil. Then DS2 started spitting up on that so we are now on Similac Sensitive RS and it works great! I am trying to find a generic for it.

Totally agree! Just switched mine to full on milk this past week. We had them on the Sams brand of Enfamil. A 3lb container costs $20 and lasted us 5-7 days. Mine had no problems with it, even with reflux.

I guess I'm the oddball, I prefer good start over enfamil and similac, my kids all seemed to digest it better, it was easier on their tummies, less spit up and less gas/constipation issues with it.

Unfortunately you can't buy generic stuff of it, nothing is comparable.

We did try the costco brand (caused gas and constipation), and all the different walmart types (more gas and constipation) before going back to the goodstart. We still have a few constipation issues but they are vastly better than they were on the other brands :)
