I am trying to have some consistency in what I do...and I feel that with reflux you can't follow the 20 min after you eat thing with solids..
If I feed them 20 min before... ds won't take his bottle and dd who loves her bottle gets mad because she rather have her bottle.
So lately I just give them all..a bit of ceral, some veggies and fruit at "dinner time" (this way we went from 5 bottles to 4) but this does
not work all the time either because they are early birds and by 5 pm they are tired...

I think it is worse for them to eat more food such a short while after they had the bottle... then if I wait too long I ended ujp feeding them before
their nap and if ds gets fuzzy he spits in his crib (he sleeps on his stomach so he pushes himself up which cuases him to spti... before he finally goes to sleep)

just wanted to see what you were doing...

We generally did solids about an hour after bottles.

Mine have it severely but they are doing better on solids but here's my eating schedule

    7:00 7-8 oz bottle

9:00-10:00 2 tablespoons cereal mixed with 2-3 tbs of juice or formula and mix in a half cont. fruit.....and offer a 4-5 oz bottle afterwards

12:00-1:00 1 cont veggie 1/2 cont. desert or fruit ...offer a 4-5 oz bottle afterwards

    3:00-4:00 7-8 oz bottle

6:00-7:00 2 tbs cereal mixed with 2-3 tbs formula and add 1/2 cont. meat or veggie..... offer 4-5 oz bottle after

8-9 7-8 oz bottle and I hold them for at least 30 minutes before putting them to bed

I've been sticking to this schedule that I found on a gerber site that said this is a good one for sitter and crawlers.... and since being on this my babies are hardly ever spitting up.....and

i usually do solids 2 hours after their first bottle of the day, when they wake up from their first nap. so that leaves about an hour to go before the next bottle, if they don't seem hungry i'll let them go another 15-20 minutes, but they usually finish the bottle. DD has vomited once or twice after that bottle and there hasn't been any evidence of the solids she had eaten earlier so i figure it had already passed out of her tummy.

We also do solids about an hour after the bottle, then we put them in their exersaucers for about 20 minutes after the solids to keep them upright.
