I'm trying to decide what to do about a stroller for the new baby. I can't decide whether or not I'd get any use out of a single stroller that my baby seat would snap into. Mine were only in their carriers for 4-5 months, so I'm thinking I could live w/out that feature for such a short time. Once the "big" kids are back to preschool in the fall I will be going out with just the baby, but that will usually just be errands and I can put the carrier in the cart. A friend of mine will lend me her single combi stroller, so I may just do that. Of course, if I'm going to use it alot I feel like I should just buy my own so I don't wear her's out. Did you all buy a single stroller?

    Thanks!

maybe you can find one at a yard sale?...just a thought... I don't quite have the same situation as you...but I probably wouldn't bother buying one... just borrow it...and use it lightly...like you said, using a shopping cart when you can... By the time fall hits and you are mostly just trucking around the one she'll be old enough to sit in a simpler stroller.

I have been back and forth on this one! I am thinking we should get a single stroller, but haven't done it yet. I have mostly gone on errands to the supermarket or Target so we have their carts to use. If I go to the mall, I am out of luck. My SIL has a triple that I can use,but she said it's kind of awkward and doesn't just fold up.

BTW, Melissa. Meghan saw your avatar the other day and said "Meggie"! She thought it was her and Nolan.

    hey melissa,
I have used my single tons....since he came the girls haven't been interested in using their double~ they say they aren't babies anymore, and they walk very well beside the stroller!
As far as the infant carrier- Stone is already out of his at 3 months, so that was a total waste of mula.
Should have just bought the convertible.......
a little FYI, I'm getting 2 of those Radians you rec'd, thanks [IMG]
putting the girls in those and putting the baby in one of the girls eddie bauer's. cheers, Pam

SORRY, I forgot to mention I got a single jogger ( urban mountain buggy) super light, and a great choice for a doing anything stroller~ so nice to fit into any doorway.
and it's great because if one of the girls gets tired they sit on the foot rest. Probably not a "mommy of the year" move, but hey it works like a charm.

First you need to know that I am a stroller FREAK! (4 doubles, 1 triple and 2 singles). My SIL had a snap and go that I have used with the carseat/carrier, and I also bought a single stroller at Target last month when everything was on sale. I like the ease of the snap and go, so that I don't have to wake Chloe to move her.
Check craigslist for a snap and go.
