For those with Leapsters

    Hi all! My boys are loving their Leapster2's they got for Christmas. We are burning through batteries at an alarming rate. We are going to look at rechargeables or get the charger specifically for the Leapster. Just wondering what you guys have and whether you like them or not? The cost of regular batteries is getting high and I hate what we are doing to the environment. I've been collecting our used batteries and need to find out where I can recycle them.

    We bought the built in chargers & love them. Worth the money.

    We have the charger, and got it when we first got the Leapster more than a year ago. Love it -- can't imagine not having it!

    We also have the Leapster charger and I definately recommend it!

    I thought about getting the charger too...sounds like a good investment :)

    Probably a good idea. We don't use our leapster much because it does use up the batteries so fast. It's rather annoying :angry:

    We just got them a week or so ago and I've noticed the same thing. I'm going to look for the charger today.

    My kids are about to get them for their B-day in a couple of days. So, I'm glad to hear that they are so well liked. I'm going to look into buying a charger too.

    As for recycling batteries, I think Home Depot has a drop box for them. I've been collecting mine too. When my pile is big enough I'll drop them off somewhere.
