I just purchased the Joovy Ultralight Caboose (not the Double, just the single with the sit and stand) and I am wondering why I didn't buy it sooner. Both the twins can fit either sitting or standing in the back and the baby loves the front. It is amazingly light and so small!! I have never had such a small stroller before and I can actually push all 3 kids in it. For the first time, I feel like a normal parent not a three ring circus with a huge stroller :rotflmbo: I bought it brand new still in the box off ebay but here is the BRU link in case anyone wants to take a look. It is expensive but considering the convienance and since I can take all 3 on it, I consider it money well spent. Anyway, I just thought someone else might be interested. I know there are a few of us on here with twins and a younger singleton. Oh and it can fit most any infant car seat.

How similar is it to their regular sit and stand? I have twins that are 28 months and am expecting in Jan. I was considering getting a sit and stand. Does this one take a car seat in the front? Also, how are the twins riding in the back together? The ones that I tried really required them to stand back to back to fit. I would love your feedback before I buy one.

Yes, a carseat can be used up front. It came with an attachment bar specifically for that use but we didn't assemble that part since we don't need it. With it also came the list or carseats that will fit and it listed all the major brands. Also, you are not supposed to have two children sit in the back but my twins just squeeze side by side. Then I don't bother to buckle them in obviously because there is only one seat belt in the back. Other times one will be sitting and the other will be standing in the back. Either way I was amazed that I could fit 3 kids in it and I have no problems pushing it. I think they only read difference between this version and the original joovy caboose is the weight and the ball bearing wheels. I have never tried using the original version so I cannot compare the two. Let me know if you have any more questions!

We have one. We bought it as "back up" But what happened with us, is one would kneel on the bench and the other wanted to stand right behind him and look over the top of his brother, so, no one rode in the front.

I looked at a couple of used sit n stand strollers but once they folded up they would not fit in the back of our Baja. this one will.

You definitely got me interested. Can I ask you how much your twins weigh? My kids may be too big to fit in the back...

I was wondering the same thing. My girls with be 21 months when my next baby is born. I want to make sure it seems like it will work before I fork out the dough.

I would also like to know how much your kids weigh. I just broke down and bought the peg triplette. It was so expensive but I just can't get out without a stroller that allows all the kids to ride in it. My twins just turned 2, two weeks ago and my baby is 14 mo. I know what you mean about a circus! It's such an ordeal but what can a person do?

Mine is a little older, but we bought it last year when they were two and 29 & 33 lbs

My twins are both just under 30 pounds. They are skinny so they might not be able to sit side by side for long, but one will still be able to sit while the other stands for a long time because the foot board is large enough. The actual seat for the back slides back and front a little bit too so we are really able to play around to find the best seating arrangement. It's hard to describle without actually showing you what I mean. It's really too bad they don't have these at any store I know of for moms to try out.

Like I said, it is pretty expensive, but I basically feel like a good stroller means a better daily life for me. We could never do the library storytime because my double stroller did not fit through the aisles, now we can. I also hated taking my other stollers shopping, now I can.

When the girls were about 2 and 4 months I was looking for a new stroller. We normally use the Duo Glider and I wanted something more compact that I could fit into bathroom stalls easier and also thought the back to back seating would provide more leg room and less kicking and bothering eachother.

I looked at the Joovy Caboose and tried it out at BRU. I thought it was neat and my girls liked the seating arrangement but at that age, my girls could not both fit comfortably in the back. Looking back I wish I purchased the Joovy but after I read a number of reviews and ended up purchasing the Trend Sit & Stand online which I ended up returning due to its size. As with all strollers there are pros and cons but thought I'd mention a few things since a number of you seem interested in this style stroller and may consider this model.

    Sit & Stand
-Trend Sit & Stand is identical to the One Step Ahead Sit and Stand but costs a little less.
-It is almost as long as the duo glider and not much lighter.
-If you hang bags from the handles...you will have little hands constantly taking things in and out. :p
-No cup holder for child in the back.

Anyway, you are welcome to pm me if you have other questions about the Sit and Stand. A friend of ours has one and loves it!
