if yours do not hold their bottles on their own, where do you twins drink their bottles?

how much baby food do they eat in one sitting?

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car)

at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry?

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub?

Guess that is it for now, I am sure I will think of more. Thanks.

mine hold their own now (unless they are feeling lazy!), but when they didn't and i had them alone, i would sit on the floor with them in their bouncy seats or propped on a boppy and hold their bottle for them, usually with my arm propped on a pillow. We more recently moved to sitting on the floor, putting one kid between my legs (head on lap), the other next to me, head on pillow and holding their bottles that way.

how much baby food do they eat in one sitting?
usually one tub of fruit or veggie (gerber plastic tub) each, 1/4 cup of cereal or yogurt and some type of finger food- tofu cubes, veggie burger, soft fruit wedge, etc. This can vary day to day, but is pretty average. i also offer water with all meals in a sippy cup

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car)
haven't tried it without a nap yet. i usually just run out for errands between naps (they get up around 10:30, and down around 1) or after the afternoon nap (3:30ish) I think they NEED their naps at this age, and luckily haven't had any reason to absolutely miss them.

at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry?
can't help you there! i still take my earrings out as soon as i get home! and i have to get my contacts in before i get them up in the morning b/c DD goes right for them!

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub?
sorry. not brave enough to do it alone. always with DH nearby if not right there. we only take baths 2-3x/wk, so that works fine.

My two are a week shy of being 8 months so they are still a bit younger then yours.

If yours do not hold their bottles on their own, where do you twins drink their bottles? I still like to feed them their bottles. It's our ONLY real cuddle (one on one) time. Lately though DS is wanting to hold his so usually I let him hold his bottle and we still get cuddle time. I also bought handles for the bottles so that they can learn how to hold them.

how much baby food do they eat in one sitting? Breakfast is 3 to 4 tbsps of cereal, lunch is half jar each of veggies/fruit and dinner is 3 to 4 tbsps of cereal/half jar of veggies. We will be starting meat soon so that might eliminate the cereal at night.

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car) I plan our outings (major outings) for after their second nap. If they decide to have a 3rd nap (lately they haven't been having that 3rd nap so I've moved bedtime earlier) they might have a short cat nap in the stroller or car. The 2 main naps are always at home. We will do a walk/swingride after their first nap and before lunch so that we can get out of the house but still be at home for the 2nd nap.

at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry? My DS is a hair puller and I have no idea  Usually I try to keep it up in a ponytail. DD likes to run her hands through my hair but doesn't pull it yet. I don't even bother wearing jewelery anymore.

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub? Usually one is in the excersaucer while I'm bathing the other.

    Hope that helps :)

1-in their bouncys or in my arms depending if I am feeding one or both.
2-each baby gets-breakfast-1-1.5 stage 2 mixed with cereal or yogurt, lunch-1.5-2 stage 2 with some cheerios or other finger foods (sometimes the amount varies depending on how much table food they eat, dinner-at least 2 stage 2's with table food again.
3-i dont wear jewelry much and I havent had an issue with the hair.
4-if I bathe alone, I put one in the exersaucer or jumper.

    Hope this helps.

Mine wont take a bottle but we are still trying w/ water and a lil juice. They lay on the floor or in the recliner on my lap.how much baby food do they eat in one sitting?
Breakfast- 1/2 to 1 full size 2 fruit mixed with cereal for the iron
Lunch- 1 sm. size one jar of veggies and 1 size one jar of fruit
Dinner- 1 size 2 jar of meat and veggies (eg. turkey and rice or chicken and veggies) and offer fruit or baby custard if they are still hungry.
We have also just introduced Arrowroot cookies after lunch or dinner and they love them and are doing well feeding themselves.

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car)
We have soccer every afternoon at 4 pm and the babies go in the stroller and while I coach one of my player's mom pushes them around or rocks them to sleep. Our late afternoon nap is "optional" so to speak and is usually just a cat nap.... NO NAPPING AFTER 6:30 PM!!
at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry?
I think that never stops... LOL around two. Once DD#1 pulled my necklace as I was lying her down in the crib and it flew EVERYWHERE dangerous lil beads all over the place I quit wearing jewelry until a later date now.

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub?
We always bathe ours together... I always have another hand to watch a lil one in the tub or carry a wet baby to the bed to dry off and I can take it from there if I have too.
Guess that is it for now, I am sure I will think of more. Thanks.

    I hope I helped!!

They sometimes hold their bottles sometimes they are lazy. We usually will have our bottles on the floor laying down where I can help or they can do it themselves.

how much baby food do they eat in one sitting?
We usually have about 8tbsp of cereal and jar of fruit in morning, lunch 1 jar meat, 1 jar veggies and either fruit or yogurt and dinner is the same as lunch

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car)
Either we go after the nap or we go without the nap in hopes they will fall alseep wherever we are in the stroller. Sometimes it happens and other times they will just go to bed a little earlier if the nap didnt work out and they are tired.

at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry? Hoping soon cause man when they get a clump of hair it hurts hurts hurts. Gonna be bald if they keep it up.

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub?
Try not to but I have had to bath them alone and when this has happened if they are both awake than i will keep one in their bouncy chair until I need to switch off.

if yours do not hold their bottles on their own, where do you twins drink their bottles? Neither of my babies hold their bottles. I feed each one seperately in my arms unless my DH is here then he takes one and I take the other. I find that feeding them in my arms gives us some nice, warm one on one time.

how much baby food do they eat in one sitting? They each eat at least 1 stage 2 jar of a meat along with 1 stage 2 jar of a veggie. They usually split a fruit or a yogurt. They are just starting to get into finger foods a little bit so much of it is ending up on the floor, but I still try to give them one (bits of fruit, puffs, cheese, etc.) at each meal for them to try to eat.

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car) I really don't go out in the afternoon during nap time. If we need to go out, I will schedule it right after they usually wake from their afternoon nap. If mine miss a nap, they don't make it up and are way too crabby to deal with!

at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry? I wish I knew! I have loads of jewelry just sitting around gathering dust. Every once in while, I will throw on a bracelet or two and just let them have at it.

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub? My DH has bath duty every night so I read to one while he is bathing the other.

Mine are younger but thought I'd answer any way.

if yours do not hold their bottles on their own, where do you twins drink their bottles?
we've just started giving more bottles as I only bf in the morning and evening. They do hold their own bottles so we feed on the floor or in the bouncies.

how much baby food do they eat in one sitting?
Breakfast is usually right after bfing so they don't eat as much...they share 5 Tbl. of oatmeal mixed with formula and one stage 2 jar of fruit. For dinner, they share a stage 2 dinner (beef and vegetables, green beans and turkey, etc), another stage 2 jar of veggie and one stage 2 fruit. Then they get their sippies and a wagon wheel and some cheerios. Working on adding in lunch

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car)
Fortunately mine sleep in the car but I usually try to go out around the naps...but honestly I don't go out much when I'm home.

at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry?
Good question because mine are hair pullers!

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub?
Did it once and never again. Bathed one and kept the other in the bouncy chair in the bathroom with us but he wasn't happy and neither was the other when he went in the bouncy. DH sets up the bath tub and watches one while I bath and dress. We bathe every other day.

if yours do not hold their bottles on their own, where do you twins drink their bottles?
I put them in boppies on either side of me and prop the bottle with a stuffed animal for one DD, and I hold the other DD.

how much baby food do they eat in one sitting?
Breakfast: bowl of oatmeal or rice cereal + 1 to 1 1/2 jar fruit; Lunch: 1 to 1 1/2 jar vegs + 1 jar fruit + crackers; Dinner: 1 jar meat + 2 jars vegs + 1 jar fruit; additional 3 8 oz. bottles of milk

how do you go out for an afternoon as far as naps go? (dd won't sleep in the car)
I stopped going out when the girls stopped napping good in the car, now we go for quick trips in between naps or after their second nap of the day.

at what age do they stop pulling your hair/jewelry?
Probably when you have no hair left! :)

if you bathe them alone, what do you do with one while the other is in the tub?
Haven't had to do that yet, I probably would put one in the exersaucer or somewhere contained.
