With my 4 yo ds no I could have sworn he was a girl. All up till the night before the big u/s, I had a dream that the money shot showed a boy and she called us before we even came in and said that it would be a boy. I woke up that morning thinking yep its going to be a boy.

With the twins, I kept having boy and girl dreams, sometimes both of htem together sometimes I would give birth to a boy and be holding a girl or be shopping with a girl and the next dream I was shopping with a boy. Then I found out it was twins and could be why the two babies all the time but then after that I just knew that it was a boy and a girl so much that I picked one boys name and one girls name and that was that.

Well I didn't have a hunch, but my Mom did. She was totally right.

Nope, my hunch was wrong! I was so sure that we were having two boys. :pardon: I have no idea where I got that from but at our 17 week u/s you could definately see that I was wrong.

What do you think you are having?

I thought at least 1 was a girl and I was right. Wasn't sure about the other one though.

With my oldest DD I really thought it was a girl, and I was right. :)

I have hunches they will be boys- something my friend said to me once about not having kids and I thought something about 'him' a few years ago, barely any morning sickness (only vomited once), and I had a dream about having boys. My husband thinks I'm wrong, he tends to make girls and more IDs are girls than boys, I know we just have to wait and see (and sometimes even the ultrasounds are wrong, so we are picking names for both just in case!)

My husband and I are hoping to have girls (for the dress up factor- we can't, well, er, would rather not dress up little boys in fru fru dresses and curls) but will love them no matter what :D there is lots to like about both genders

I thought my first was a girl - right
I thought the next two were boy/boy - half right
I thought my youngest was a girl - wrong

I was beyond Convinced that I was having 2 Boys, I told everyone that I was having boys. I was shocked to find out at 19 weeks that I was actually having 2 Girls! Apparently my motherly instinct was way off.

With my first pregnancy I felt I was having two boys. I was half right! :)

This twin pregnancy I'll never know. I (again) felt it was two boys. I think I'm a broken record there. I knew it was a boy and I was correct.

The ultrasound tech at my 19 week appt. said that a majority of time, mom's were correct. I guess the odds are harder when there are twins! :umm:

yep I was right I said all along it was a boy and girl and sure enough.....my reasoning was everyone told me girls are more active than boys and at 9 weeks I felt my girl and about 12 weeks I felt my boy......and all along my girl is still more active

I had a feeling it was b/g (strongest feeling) or it was 2 boys - I was SURE I was NOT having 2 girls...and I was right about the b/g part!

Nope. I was sure I was carrying twin GIRLS. At the 5 month ultrasound, the doctor informed us it was a BOY and... another Boy. I think he found it humorous because we already had one boy.. Funny Doc.

The week before I found out I was pregnant the first time, I just got a feeling that I would have a boy first and I was right. Then I was convinced with the twins that I was having two girls and I was totally wrong. I'm having identical boys!

Well we didn't know our twins were ID until after they were born (my doctor swore that she saw two placentas), so I really thought that they were going to be boy/girl. DH thought for sure they were two girls. We were both shocked when we found out that we were having two BOYS. The only person who predicted that was my 85 year old grandad, and he said it from the very beginning. My dad had a dream that they were two girls, so everyone was wrong.

Not only did I guess right, I even guessed which baby was which. I knew that Baby A was a girl and Baby B was a boy. I'm not really sure how I knew. I don't remember having very many dreams, just a "feeling" I guess. A really strong one!!

My husband and I both dreamed on the same night (2 days after learning that we're having twins) that we would have identical twin girls... I didn't really think much of it, but sure enough, they're both girls, now we'll just have to see if they turn out to be identical! :)

The first dream that I can remember having about the babies while being pregnant was that they were both boys, however I didn't necessarily believe that it would be the truth! I found out at the 20wk Level II scan that they were indeed both boys. My best friend also had a dream before I told her that I was pregnant that I was having twins and that one was a boy so she was right as well! Kind of freaky but I'm not one to necessarily believe in dreams materializing but that 's just my 2 cents!

With my first, the day I found out I was pg I went out and bought a girl type stuffed animal. I knew it was my little girl. My dh swore it was a boy as was my mil who said "for over 5 generations all the men in the family have two boys first". I said "I am here to break that record"...sure enough...a little girl.

With my second I had a feeling it was a boy but just didn't think I was a "boy" mom. But he is all boy.

With the twins, I at first thought g/g. Then I said boy/girl. Dh said boy/boy. When our cvs test said two boys I just kept thinking that didn't feel right and thats why I kept asking her to recheck baby b. Sure enough...a girl.

    I've been wrong every time:)
I thought w/ DD that we were having a boy and with the twins I was convinced we were having ID girls, but we're having ID boys and we're very excited that our daughter will have a way to stand out from the twins.
Guess momma intuition failed me too!

With my first, I was convinced she was a boy...NOPE!

Second, I was absolutely positive that she was boy...NOPE!

When I got pregnant with twins, I KNEW I was having a girl...didn't know it was twins yet. Then I began seeing twin girls everywhere...on TV, at Target, in the neighborhood, IN MY DREAMS!....So, I was not surprised at all when we found out we were having two girls!

Then I was positive that we were having B/G twins once we found out twins. Half right...

    Completely wrong every time!

My first - My husband and I both thought it was a boy -- it was a girl.

The twins -- I was sure it was two girls, my husband swore it was two boys -- we're having one of each.

Then I had a hunch they were both boys...confirmed at 20 week u/s!

Mother's intuition or lucky hunches? Who knows!!

When I found out we were having twins I had a feeling we were having one of each. We sent the pictures to my mom and she believed they were one of each also. My DH thought they were both girls. I had also had a dream around my 30th week which showed me having one of each. Since we did not know the genders until they were born it was really cool to find out they were one of each. Mothers intuition can be a powerful thing.
