New twin mom with a question. For those use the Playtex Drop-In Bottles/Liners, how do you heat your bottles? stove top, bottle warmer, in container of hot water?

We use a tupperware container with hot water or in my bathroom at night I just put the plug in the sink and fill with hot water to put bottles in. It's very fast only takes a couple mins.

we've never heated our bottles - makes it easier and they're not used to it being warm. Just room temp

I never heated either - mine liked it cold out of the fridge

With the small ones(4oz), I just used a container of hot water if I had pre-made the bottles. Most of the time though, I would put the powder in the liner, and add the water when I needed a bottle.

We use a bottle warmer. It has always worked fine. You just have to be careful and watch it closely - take it out and shake it mid-heat and test it.

    * I have two warmers, one downstairs and one upstairs in the room that we do our nighttime feedings in.

I will confess, we often do ours in the microwave. No explosions yet :D

Same here! Although my mom had a hard time with me doing this, the babies were fine!

We use cups of hot water. DH and Grandma absolutely refuse to give the babies formula straight out of the fridge, where as I have no issue with the concept and I don't think the babies care either way. When they are hungry, they just chow down!

We used cups of hot water mine hated cold formula. Now I add powder and the water later as needed.

We did bottle warmer until about 2 months old and then I just left them at room temperature.

Same here. My girls always took their bottles at room temp and taking the bottles from the fridge and putting it into hot water brought it to room temp within a couple of minutes.

ahhh yes my MIL actually picked a fight with us and told us what terrible parents we were until I told her that it stopped my son from throwing up so much and if she'd like to get puked on she could heat the bottle and come feed him...

Warm water in a bowl.. but we would warm up the EBM in the storage bag, not in the drop in.

We just stopped using that kind of bottle. I used to get the water really hot on the stove and then pour it into a cup and set the bottle in that.

Warm tap water, or *I confess too* in the micro just to take off the chill....No explosions here either! The only reason it says no micro is because the bag can explode...Like I said, I have yet to see it happen and I only do it if the babies are EXTREMLY fussy and need their bottles ASAP! ;)

I had to put the milk in something else to warm it in the micro as the bag would melt and put a little hole in the top then it would make a mess. So I try to just put warm water in when I make the bottle.

ditto... We have since they were about 3.5-4 months old... Before i put them in a bowl of hot water.... Two upset hungry babies and waiting on that... Yeah that stopped soon enough and the microwave works fine. We just take the chill off of it... It really is still cold... They have never had issues with it...

Mine only get EBM so we have to warm it because the fat seperates. We put the bottles in a cup of hot water, it heats really quick.
