I feel like my little ones car seats tilt way too far back. This makes me so nervous. I have been buckling the black strap around the carseat furthest away from the handle ( I know it is used for other carseats to make them compatible) Also, the carseat furthest away (in this pick, my little boys) wobbles when I am pushing the stroller even though it is snapped on. The basket on the bottom isn't on right and drags, I can't figure out how to get it on....I feel silly asking this but don't think it looks right. Please look at the pic and tell me what you think. Is this how your snap n go looks too with the car seats attached? Thank you.

Mine did not tilt back like that at all. They sat in the SNG just like they sit in the carseat base.

Have you tried sitting the back carrier in first and then the front....they should sit flat.
If your not sure about it, you can always take it to babies r us to have them show you how everything works

My carseats don't tilt back that far. I found the instructions to be sort of confusing, but make sure that the bars in the center are positioned correctly for your carseats. The bars had to be adjusted to fit the Evenflo carseats that we use. Maybe you just need to adjust the bars?

I'm curious too... We have an older model and the 'back' bar is higher, so it seems much easier to snap them so the inclination is right. I saw the new models and I'm not sure how it's supposed to work either.

I was going to say to adjust the bars for the Graco Snugride carseats. Getting them right can be tricky. Good luck!

I agree about adjusting the bars. They are definitely not supposed to look like that. The back car seat should be clipped on straight to the back bar. The back of the front car seat should be clipped onto the middle bar. It looks like you have the front car seat bar attached too far forward.

I also wanted to add that there are bars that you snap into the basket that go from the sides to the front to keep it upright.

Thank you for your replies. I am going to take it to the local Babies R us where I bought it and ask them how it goes. DH works out of town and I don't think we kept the box and instructions. I had it put together by the guys in Babygear at Babies R us when I bought it so that I wouldn't have to do it myself....guess that was a mistake cuz obviously it was done wrong

It looks like you have the Graco Snugrides from the picture, and if so, they have a leveler at the bottom that will tell you if you the seat is in the correct postion when you have it in the SNG. I'd play around and adjust the bars, until you see the seat register as level.

I have a snugride and the DSNG, but they don't sit 'level' in the stroller according to the leveling device. That leveler is meant to position the seat correctly in the car so that safety is maximized in the event of an accident... It's not as important in the stroller (not much risk of head on collisions!! ) I'm pretty sure the snugrides tilt back further than they do in the car, but not as much as the OPs picture.

I'm with everyone else, it looks like you have the bars in the wrong spots... once you get them in the right spots it should get better!

When I took mine out of the box, it already had some bars in place, and they were in the wrong spots, so maybe the guys who put it together didn't even move them (I have gracos too). Definitely have them look it over for you! And then, it is easier to put the back on in first...the front carseat, the head of it should overlap the back's bottom of the carseat, just slightly (with room for feet), opposite of the overlap your picture is showing.

Thank you so much....I feel so silly I didn't know the back carseat went on first. I also agree with you, the guys at babies r us most likely didn't adjust the bars for our Graco snugride seats.

Here are the online instructions. http://www.babytrend.com/download/20070610...ctions_0407.pdf

I don't know if they will help you or not. Good luck. I have the older model and they definitely shouldn't lean back like that.

Thank you so much for looking this up for me.

That looks wrong to me too. Ours didn't look like that at all.

Glad you are going to go ask at the store.

Ask for someone who has experience at the store. Don't be afraid to ask that.... I went to BRU and asked the clerk to show me how the Contours (Kolcraft) double stroller worked. He didn't have a clue and then told me I'm too short to handle it and tried to sell me a Greco stroller instead. I was offended 'cuz he was so young and told me I was short.. I am (5'), but don't tell me that I can't handle a stroller 'cuz you don't know how it works.... I went to BuyBuyBaby (they are new stores here in Michigan) and the gal gave me a whole 15 minute lesson on everything about the Contours! And showed me all the infant seats that works with it... It's perfect for us! In fact since they have been so so helpful and knowledgable about different products I'm registered there now!!!

I agree that the bars in the wrong places! Do you still have the instruction manual? In there, it has a diagram of the bars/stroller and where to put the bars per which brand of carseat you have.

    I LOVE my D - Snap -n -Go!

We had accidentally thrown the instructions away but someone, I forget who it was, posted the link for me and I printed them out. DH comes home for the weekend today, he is going to fix it for me. Thank you to everyone who has replied....I appreciate all the help.

You've probably already fixed it- but nope, not in right. Also, I never put the back seat in first. If you do that, it can tip over! So I put front in first and then you have to lower the front end of the back car seat a bit. Here is a pic of mine:

My DH just put together ours. It looked EXACTLY like your picture. He read the instructions (he never reads the instructions). There was an extra bar that he removed and then it worked great. I guess since it is made for different types of car seats the bar is not for our type of car seat.

    Thanks!
