I am going STIR crazy being in the house with all this rain and bad weather! The girls and I were out on Saturday, but so was the rest of the world, so we didn't stay out for long. We had to run a quick errand this morning but other than that have been home. I feel so lethargic and foggy and tired because of the weather. Anyone else? UGH! I feel like the girls are looking at me like "Um, hello mom, wake up!" Please tell me I'm not alone.

You are definitely not alone!! We are going crazy here. I took the kids out for a bit on Saturday. When it cleared for a little while yesterday, they were sleeping. It's supposed to stay rainy until Thursday or Friday. I just drove home from Boston and the traffic was nasty and they didn't open the HOV lane today (weather related maybe??)

After dinner last night we were playing outside and the sump pump kicked in leaving a nice big puddle in the yard and river down the driveway. K&K looked at me like I had 1,000 heads when I told them to go jump in it and have fun! Yes, they had a blast and I couldn't care less that they were soaked lol! We played outside quite a bit on Sat also. The weekend is supposed to be looking up a little although Kyle's tball events have all been cancelled because the fields are soo horrible.

Better days are ahead but gosh is it soo hard to put any attention on global warming issues when you wake up to snow coming down on April 17th???

I wouldn't mind a little global warming right now! I am so sick of this weather -- I think I'll call Al Gore and ask him how come my part of the Earth doesn't seem to have a fever anymore ;)

Maureen, I heard on the way home tonight that the HOV was closed due to flooding.

Dianne, I had to drive three times out of my way to get to work tonight because the Shawsheen River is overflowing again and I have to cross it to get to work. So aggrevating. :umm:

Morrissey Blvd was closed on my way in to town, so I guess it makes sense. It just made me have to get off the highway because of traffic.

We are also going crazy here, my almost 4 year old is trying to ride her bike from christmas IN the house. I cannot wait for the weekend and expected good weather. I don't think I can stand one more day of wind and rain. the only (sort of) cool thing is taking a drive a long the beach and the harbor at high tide to see the incredible waves this weather has produced but I'm even quite over that too!!

    sunshine, come find us!!!! B)
