I'm debating on when to tell my employer that I'm pregnant again. If I don't find another full-time job soon, I'm just going to stay there working part-time and pick up another part-time job in the evenings and some weekends for some extra cash. Not my ideal situation, but it will be hard finding a place to hire a full-time pregnant woman...lol!

So, when should I tell my employer? I told them with the twins when I was 9 weeks (right when I got back from my u/s b/c I was just ready to BURST with the news...they didn't even know I was pregnant yet, let alone having twins...lol).

I guess I just feel like, to them, that I will be showing more than I would to someone who didn't know...KWIM? I mean, I've already gone up 1.5 cup sizes in my bra and I just feel bloated and gross all of the time. At least the m/s is just nausea and I'm not vomitting. I just think that when I start wearing all different clothes there that someone might catch on. I guess it doesn't really matter if they know or not...I'm either staying or leaving so it doesn't really matter to them.

I'm rambling now...anyone, for those in your first trimester, when are you telling your employer? For those who are 2nd or 3rd trimester, when did you tell them?

When I was pregnant with the girls I waited to tell my employer until 12 weeks when I had my first u/s. We didn't tell anybody until we heard the heartbeat at our 10 week appointment. We knew we were having an u/s soon, so we just waited until then to tell non-family members/close friends. I am a SAHM this time around, so I am no help with this one!

I would wait until 12 weeks as well. I think that was when I told my employers when I was pregnant with the twins.

I just told my boss this week. I had the summer off (work in a school) and I figured people would notice the "weight gain" when school started up next week and I wanted the boss to hear it from me instead of the "rumor mill". I was at the end of my eleventh week.

I told my current work place at around 8 weeks, but we're all one big happy family there. I'm telling my new work place on Friday...and I'm NERVOUS

Back when I was working I waited until someone asked and then spilled the beans. It took quite a while because nobody wanted to make the mistake of asking if I was pregnant incase I was just getting chubby!

I have no great advice for you, but I did want to say hi. We were on the expecting board at the same time....I was under aimeeandbabies and had my twins just a few months after yours but I remember chatting in your bedrest days!

Glad to see you here again!

I told my boss a couple weeks after I found out. I actually found out 1 week after I came back to work after a years maternity leave with the boys so I kinda felt I owed it to him to be upfront considering he'd now need another replacement for me

I told mine with the twins at 8 weeks I think it was. I was a nanny and right ebfore I told her she said your pg!!!!!

she said I knew b/c you were sick all the time without being sick....

Gotta love morning i mean all day sickness!!
I felt I had to tell them b/c I was with their kids all day and spent the entire time in the bathroom.... Sooner or later im sure questions would have come up.
