So i don't know what happened to the post, my computer pooped out.
Basic question is i need some food ideas, i seem to be feeding my boys the same dang things over and over. I feel bad but can't come up w/new ideas. Their diet consists of:
Milk, Cereal, cereal bars, pancakes, fruit(still baby food)
Chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, plain cheese, yogurt, pasta, random snacks(gerber and goldfish type things)

I can stand at the frig for several minutes and nothing is jumping out at me!!!
Help, it is getting boring and i am not even eating this stuff!!!

Mine eat whatever we eat, except shellfish and peanut butter.

Veggies - try the frozen veggies, mine will eat any kind of veggie I give them, cut up into bite-size pieces
Fruit - frozen we did in the winter, but now we are doing a lot of "in season" stuff - kiwis are a new favorite, apricots, bananas are the old standby. Mine will eat any fruit I give them, except for blueberries. I also cut the fruit into bite size pieces. Grapes, quartered, were a huge hit.

    Try frozen dinners, like
    fettuccini
    mac & cheese
    fettuccini with chicken, broccoli
    goulash

    nitrate, antibiotic free turkey bologna
nitrate, antibiotic free hot dogs (cut into quarters)
    turkey burgers

Really, any leftovers from the previous night's dinner, they will eat. I always over-make veggies for dinner, then they get the leftover veggies for lunch the next day.

Mine also love eggs whether it's egg salad or scrambled with cheese/veggies or hard boiled. If I'm scrambling it, I will use egg beaters and they can't tell the difference. They also love soup. We get the lipton noodle soup mixes and then add veggies, eggs, etc. to it and it's a big hit. I also give them lunch meat/hot dogs/fish sticks/meatballs/rice and black beans/hummus/avocado and tons of chicken nuggets. At any point in time when you ask them what they want to eat, they will always respond ranch, ketchup, chicken... They eat a ton of fruit as well throughout the day and whatever junk we happen to be eating. Give them time to develop a taste for things. Now, when we go out to eat, they will eat what we order and love it (like Danielle was eating my DH's sushi and not letting him have any the other day...who knew she would love raw salmon?).

Gosh, let me see if I can remember that far back!

At that age I used a lot of canned (low or no sodium) or frozen veggies b/c they are so soft and easy for them to eat. The bags of mixed veggies (peas, carrots, limas, etc. were great). For meats I used diced ham that you can buy for omelettes, lots of scrambled eggs, fish, poached chicken or rotisserie chicken. Starches that they liked were mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, mashed or cubed sweet potatoes. They also loved any kind of peeled, cut up fruit, avacados, etc. Ravioli and tortellini were a big hit and I could sneak some spinach in that way too. Yogurts, string cheese, any kind of crackers, cereal bars/bites, etc. HTH :)

ALSO! Please don't forget to add your suggestions to the new toddler food sticky at the top of this forum :)

My boys like quesadillas . I also give them graham crackers with a smear of cream cheese- they love this one!!!!
They absolutely love Campbell's chicken noodle-o's ( so does my 8 year old!!) I put at least double the water to dilute the sodium content. My boys love anything with meat in it and do not care much for pasta- unless it is raviolis (meat-filled!)
They eat lots of turkey and chicken- they like dad's bbq steaks too (really teeny pieces). I warm up frozen meatballs (turkey or beef) and they devour them, meatloaf as well. Another hit was canned sweet potatoes and chicken in the Magic bullet (small blender) also applesauce and pork chops.
Oh- last one I can think of.... applesauce and cottage cheese together.

But, even after all those mentioned things- I too stand in front of the fridge and can't think of a thing to feed them!!!!
    best wishes
    Lanie
