I believe the twins have a good diet, but I feel like I am always feeding them the same things, not to mention I am scared about them choking. I am looking for more snack type foods I should be feeding them that they can self feed. Right now they are eating so many graham crackers, I would like to add some variety. They eat a ton of fruits, sweet potato fries, steamed carrot sticks, and whatever we eat for dinner. Any ideas would be helpful.

It sounds like they have a pretty varied diet, especially if you're feeding them what you're eating! :good: At that age we gave them:

    The ubiquitous puffs
    Cheerios
Frozen steamed veggies (like carrots, peas, corn)
Sweet potato fries (still a big hit here)
    Bits of cheese
    Sausage/hamburger crumbles
    Goldfish
    Small slivers of apple/pear
Tiny bits of any type of bread (biscuits, pitas, French bread, etc.)
Chicken noodle soup with the broth poured out (so they can eat the noodles, chicken, veggies)
    Shredded chicken
    Bits of ham
    Bits of homemade cookies
    Waffle/pancake pieces
And I confess to giving them their first (and only, so far) candy bar (a wedge of Kit Kat) at Halloween when they were just over 14 months

I'm sure there was a lot more, but this is what I can remember. Hope this helps! :)

To add to Valerie's list, I also gave:
    cut up cereal bar
Grips snacks (Cheez-It, Chips Ahoy and I think there is a graham cracker one too)
    yogurt
    pudding
    cut up fruits and veggies
    Beech Nut Yogurt Nibbles
broken up crackers with some dip

I just found this product at Whole Foods in the freezer section brand named Dr. Praegels. Broccoli bites and Spinach bites. They are in the shape of stars and animals, $3.99/box. Basically it is potato with spinach and broccoli and the other ingredients are canola oil, and a couple of other things - real foods though. Great and healthy snack. Mine would live on graham crackers if you let them - of course!
