Hi, I apologize in advance, i am sure this topic is out there somewhere, but i couldnt find anything. My twins are a little over 12 mos. of age, born 7 wks premature. I was just wondering, what do your twins eat for lunch and dinner foods, and other than milk, water, and apple juice, what do you give them for other drinks?

My twins will only eat soft foods that are easy to swallow, such as chicken noodle soup (i have to chop up really good) and mac N cheese, they will not eat any kind of meat, no matter how small i cut it up. It seems i just keep giving them the same things over and over, and am looking for other ideas, they eat, pancakes, donuts, waffles, toast, eggs, etc....but need help in trying other foods.

Also, applesauce, sliced up oranges, banana's....and other soft foods...

    thanks in advance.

for drinks: they get, milk, water and watered down apple juice.

Who knew food had to be so difficult! We have food ruts here too and it seems like my LO's eat the same thing over and over as well. I always seem to have more of an issue with lunch than supper because for supper they eat whatever I'm making for supper. Lunch is usually covered the next day as we eat the leftovers from supper the night before but if that's not the case I will make something from the list below:

    Grilled cheese
    Spaghetti
    Ravioli
    Chix tenders/nuggets
    Fish Sticks
    Chicken patties w/ cheese
Chix noodle soup or other kinds of soup
I always give them veggies and fruit, yogurt or applesauce or cottage cheese

    Supper ideas:
Any sort of pasta with red or white sauce with bits of chicken
Roast beef (really tender, soft and easy to chew)
Marinated chicken breats (tender and easy to chew)

Somethings my kids don't want to eat either, like right now they don't want anything to do with scrambled eggs but I'm going to keep offering it to them in hopes that one day they'll like it. I've read in a few places that you should offer your kiddos something at least 10 times and if they still don't want it then they truly don't like it so I'm going with that. I hope I gave you some ideas! Good luck!

Oh and my LO's only really drink milk. A few times a week they will get watered down juice for a snack but I really don't want them to get too much of that because I'm sure they'll get plenty when they're old enough to fight me for it! :D

One of my DDs does not eat meat. But there is a lot of protein in eggs, cheeses, yogurt and dark green veggies. Peas and carrots are small foods you can try, I also do peanut butter on whole wheat diced up. My other DD loves meatballs! I buy frozen from Trader Joes and defrost for dinner...that could be one thing you could try too.
My girls only drink milk with meals and have water available all day. They haven't tried juice yet!

    GL!

Mine wouldn't eat meat for a long time and there are still times where they will eat everything but meat.

You could try sloppy joes, quesadillas, hamburger helper, tortellinis, hotdogs, and everything has already been mentioned.
