    Hi all!

Let's see how many of us still have food aversions & what we are craving now..

    Ok I'll start:

From the begining of my pregnancy I had a total aversion towards chicken & cooked veggies.

Now at 29 wks, I still can't stomach chicken. The veggies are ok, although I admit I don't eat that much of them.

I do crave chocolate in any form! But mostly I have chocolate ice cream. Then in the mornings I love ice cold apple juice diluted with water. My cravings for cheesy chips have all but gone now too.

Just to add, I do eat healthy every day, but every now & again it's nice to just indulge.. :D

Can't wait to read your responses..

When pregnant with dd1 I craved mint chip ice cream and couldn't stand chicken at all and the smell of anything cooking
with ds2 I craved mint chip ice cream & Cap'n crunch cereal and hated chicken and all foods cooking
with twins I craved mint chip ice cream (see a theme here  ) and big salads-with everything on them. Couldn't stand the smell of food of any kind. Chicken was okay to eat this time though.

Well, I'm still pretty early in this..but at the beginning the only thing I could eat and not feel sick with was soup. Now, I'm hungry all the time!! I crave:
(1.) fresh, cold strawberries (2.) granny smith apples (3.) water, lots of it (4.) ranch dressing (5.) salt (6.) marinara sauce (7.) loaded baked potatoes (8.) veggie pizza - but I think its because of the marinara sauce (9.) onions - I used to hate onions, except I would eat onion rings, and now I want onions on my burgers, sandwiches, rice, etc. :D

Things I don't want: (1.) coffee (2.) chocolate  - I know! (3.) cokes (4.) and I'm slowly starting to dislike orange juice, but I think its because I've been drinking a glass every morning. :p

I definitely had more aversions than cravings when I was pregnant:

Aversions: hot dogs, olives, capers, tartar sauce, chicken soup (!), chocolate

Cravings: egg salad, strawberries (I see someone else posted this!). raw spinach, toast

That's what I'm remembering now, anyway.

I'm pretty early in the pregnancy also, but so far I can't stand orange juice and any type of seafood (it's the smell). Sort of stinks because it's crawfish season right now and I'll gag if I go to a crawfish boil. I've craved any type of meat. Before pregnancy I rarely ate any meat and only if it was in something, I would never have meat alone, and now I've even ordered a steak at a resturaunt for the first time!

cravings: watermelon, watermelon, watermelon! strawberries. tomatoes with salt and avocadoes too. lemon and lime in water and on things. cold salad with asian dressing(specifically Wendy's Mandarin Orange salad.) Cap'n Crunch cereal, like pp. and noodles. most types of noodles. Kind of weird. and fluid too since sooooooo thirsty!

aversions: chicken, unless fried. most meat. Normally seafood but I went to town on some crab legs on Saturday so....that seems better. and then other aversions come up. and most sweets for now. Basically I "think" about a food to determine tolerance. Sometimes it sounds good other times makes me want to puke!

Thanks for starting this one....kind of fun!

in the very very beginning i wanted cheese fries every day. then it went to big soft pretzel and cheese. aversions: cooking food, peppers, onions, all vegetables, seafood, pretty much everything. even chocolate!

now my aversions are: cheese fries, pretzel and cheese, cooking veggies (esp. peppers and onions), greasy foods, still pretty much everything.
my cravings now are: fresh fruit, chocolate every now and then, red meat
and i can TOLERATE: fresh veggies, chicken, and i am cooking a little more now that i don't mind the smell (just no veggies in the pan, please!)

i'm really having the problem with being hungry and not knowing what to eat cuz nothing sounds appetizing

i used to hate tomatos but this pregnancy i can eat them like apples--lol i really only like them if they are sweet though. so i have taken it apon myself to start a tomato garden this summer to see if the taste for tomatos will last and survive.

the one thing that i have not been able to stomach at all is any kind of BBQ with the exception of BBQ chips. i can't even stand the smell of it still. i really only liked BBQ on hamburgers before but i think that i ruined that taste by going to a restuarant i'd never been before. needless to say that it just wasn't my own home cookin. lol! i just hope that i can still eat my meatloaf when i cook it. i use BBQ sauce and a couple of secret ingredients instead of ketsup.

    Lots of love!
