DH & I are flying to England tomorrow afternoon (it´s currently just gone 9pm for me in Spain) and we´re quite nervous! I flew with them when they were 7 months old and it went ptetty well but now they are twice that age and very active. I´ve got 3 new toys as back up and hope to take a DVD with us.

DD is ill with a throat infection and I hope she travels OK. She´s perkier today and her fever has gone for now.

    Any last minute advice?

    TIA!

No advice, I have not yet been brave enough to fly with the twinkies but I just wanted to wish you a safe and happy trip!

The thing I think is most challenging is getting through security. I think we have it mostly figured out now. My husband and I both wear slip-on shoes to expedite our process (I think this is a MUST) and right before the security line, we sit down, take off the kid's shoes, empty our pockets (having an extra plastic bag in your carry-on can help keep all the stuff together) and put ANY item that MIGHT make the metal detector beep in one of our carry on bags (think belts, watches, possibly jewelery).
If you do all that, hopefully you can just sail through security without having to do the kid/bag/stroller juggling act too much!
    Good luck!

We flew with the kids at 13 months from the US to Serbia. It was long but not as bad as I expected. Don't forget... patience. And alot of it. Good luck tomorrow, I'm sure they'll do great! :good:

I think I may have missed you, but just in case you see this before you go, just keep your sense of humor, have patience, lots of snacks, and remember its just a couple hours out of everyone's lives! GL and have a nice trip!

All of the pp's are great - just keep perspective and know that it will be over in a few hours, regardless of what is going on. Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you! Have a great time.

I hope your DD is feeling better soon!
