floatation swimsuits?

Summer is here, and I'm thinking about buying floatation swimsuits for my kids as a precaution. I realize that you can never leave kids unsupervised, but yesterday my DS fell in the pool with DH and I standing right there! Anyway, does anyone have one that they like? Thanks! Laura

I agree that I love the puddle jumper. I will say that I bought a couple of the flotation swimsuits from walmart last summer and they actually forced my kids to their face in the water!! They went straight back to the store - kind of defeated the purpose.

I have bought all kinds - and by far the best, and the only one we still use is the puddle jumper ones - I found most of the swimsuit ones did not work well, my kids actually had a hard time standing up once they got tipped over. As soon as I saw that, I put them away forever! But, we have used the puddle jumper ones for over a year, and they are fantastic! Very good to keep the kids head out of water while in deeper water - just make sure not to use them in really wavy water as they could slip off if they were really whipped around (we do ours up really snug)

 

I just got a set from Amazon, yay, 2 were just $25 and qualified for free shipping. thanks for mentioning this again. we can never be too careful, and the life jackets that we've been making them wear while on the dock at the lake are really hot. these will be great!
