Welcome to the First Years TwinStuff scavenger hunt! Just for fun, for all of our First Years Mommies, and to help you learn more about TS, there are 20 questions that can be answered from finding the right place on TwinStuff. Some are easier than others, but this list sends you all over our site. If everyone gets stuck on a particular question, hints might be given. Please post your answers in this thread. If you are a Rewards member, you can edit your own post for roughly an hour. Otherwise, you can't edit a post.

 

No one has all 20 correct yet.

But let's confirm one that is correct for everyone.
1. To get a TS Big sister, you PM Trish (FristTimeMom814).
All big sisters are TS volunteers, who have been around TS for a while and normally have older kids. I've been lucky enough to have a big sister, and to be a big sister.

By having a big sister, I could ask all those questions I wanted to know about, but really didn't want to post out there on the internet. I used to not post much at all. She answered lots of questions for me, and gave me lots of support. We still chat every once in a while, since I still have questions.

On the other side, I also like being a big sister so that I can help provide support for someone else. I didn't know anyone living who had twins, and there isn't a twins club near me, so I'm glad I can help support someone who is in the same situation. And it's a nice way to get to know other TS members.

There is no obligation about having a big sister. Your big sis will just check in with you every once in a while to make sure you are doing ok if she doesn't hear from you in a while. I think it's a great program.

Now for some more of the explanations -

2. Rewards membership lets you attach files, have a personalized avatar, and gain access to the Corn, where some more hotly debated topics go on.

3. A PM is a private message, like an e-mail. You can get to them through the "new messages" link toward the top right hand side of your screen, our through "My controls" more towards the middle.

4. There are all sorts of other forums out there besides this one. One of my favorites is the Health and Weight loss forum, but I've learned lots in the Cooking one as well. And Movies and TV is always a good time. They are found below the "for parents" forums.

I'll be back with more once my kids will let me....

 

5. In case you didn't know, we have a book forum, and they will often have a "book of the month" to read and discuss.

6. We have a couple of private forums. In the description for all of them is the name of who to contact.

7. We have over 28,000 members. Wow! You can find the latest info on the main page of Twinstuff.

8. Every month the top posters are posted under "Official Twinstuff Notices". Other important info is posted there as well.

9. We have an arcade, and go visit, if you dare. I've heard people have gone there and been stuck there for days playing! :laughing: The link is toward the top of the screen.

10. Under the "members" link toward the top, righthand side, you can search all sorts of things about members.

11. It's a subforum, among others, in Parents Club.

12. There are also auctions, and a shopping and auctions forum.

13. Buddy clubs are a great way to get to know other people who have kids close to the same age as yours. The links are toward the bottom of the "for parents" section.

14. No other explanation really needed from the answers.

15. You can host your blog on TS.

16. Yes, there are even productreviews on TS - off of the main page.

17. Once your twins are older, there are some forums just for them!

18. You can post pictures in the TS gallery. And those hosted are the only ones allowed to be embedded in posts.

19. TS has it's own "Biggest Loser" contest in the Health and Weight loss forum. It's a great place for supoprt for those trying to lose weight.

20. Twin Wiki has some great articles and information.
