First trip to the beach!

Well, we finally decided to hit the beach yesterday in Chicago! We met a friend there who has a 19 month old and we walked down and actually played on the beach and a bit in the water! I have a 3.5 yr old and 18 month old twins. Skylar didn't love it at first, but quickly warmed up to the idea. They had a great time and stayed right with me the whole time. It wasn't a crowded beach, which was great and there was a park right next to it that we were able to play at after we ate lunch.

I was really nervous about how it would go, but so glad I did it. Just wanted to share. I will have to try and post some pics sometime.

I took my almost 5 year old and my twin 18 month olds to Lake Michigan 2 weeks ago - and I was also amazed at how well everything went! And it was a lot of fun, too!!

 

:banana: How exciting. I'm jealous of the comfortable weather I am sure you had - it's been well over 100 everyday here lately. But enough about my jealousy.... Congrats!!!!!! :yahoo:
