First Period

Hi all. I am curious to know how long after your pregnancy did you begin to have your period? I [pretty much] didn't have a period for over a year - it's kind of a long story. I'd like to be ready for it when it comes; sounds silly I know ardon:

 

My boys are almost 6 months old, and I still haven't gotten mine. I BF, though, which is certainly a factor.

 

I haven't had mine yet either.....also BF'ing.

I bf older ds for 10 m and it didn’t come for 10 m… I stopped bf (or I should say attempting to bf) the twins at 2 m and it came at 10w

 

I formula feed and mine came at 10 weeks

I was BFing and I got it at 8 weeks. I haven't had one since though.

 

I formula feed & I got mine 12 weeks pp! On their 3 month birthday exactly & it's been like clockwork since!

 

With the twins, I was pumping for six months (got at least half formula though) and it came back at nine months. I'm nursing exclusively this time around and nothing so far.

Mine are 14 weeks & formula fed. I bled a little bit one day last week & thought it was it but no more. Fine with me!

 

I stopped pumping at 11 weeks, I had a light period at 12 weeks.

 

I breastfeed & formula feed. It's been about 3 months & nothing. I was wondering the same thing!!

 

I b/f for about 4 weeks and then my milk dried up--My period came when they were about 3 months. It was a very heavy period too. It was alot heavier than the 1st one after my first child.

I have been nursing them and formula feeding and have seen nothing thus far.

 

I breastfed for 3 weeks and then switched to formula. My post partum bleeding lasted until 10 weeks (yes 10 weeks) and then I got my first period at 12 weeks pp. I felt like I would never stop bleeding!! I had very irregular periods before getting pg and suprisingly have been very regular since giving birth.

 

Mine came at 3 months even though I was exlusively breastfeeding two and I was underweight! go figure.

It was AWFUL at first but they got much better and regular as time went on.

 

I pumped for 6mo and had nothing but I also got an IUD at 8 weeks pp so that may also be the reason. Still nothing! Yay!

 

I didn't BF so it took about 2 months and I got it right after I was done bleeding from child birth. Nice huh? <_<

 

I have been bfing for almost 10months, and I just finished my first cycle.

I am still BF and I haven't gotten mine yet...I keep wondering when it might happen, though!

 

Mine are a little over 6 mo, and I just stopped bf/pumping (though they only got 2/3 bm) a couple of weeks ago. No period yet, but I am noticing some ovulation mucus (which means intercourse might not be so painful--yeah!)... so I should start soon.

 

still bf, no period yet. but I did have pp bleeding until 12 weeks-- that was a fright. had some spotting last month- thought it would turn into one, but no. so. jury is out on me.

 

Mine are 7 months old and no period yet - I also BF.

I didn't get my period with my first DS until he was 15 months old (I was also still bfing).

It is so nice not to have to deal with it!
