First night 'on their own'

So I've decided tonight is the night to move them to their nursery! We'll see how it goes...it'll be interesting to say the least. Who will wake up first? Who will sleep through? Will one wake the other? Will I actually get some real sleep? Wish us luck!

WOW! If I knew it would be THIS easy I would have moved them earlier! Just kidding...I've LOVED having them so close to us at night Anyway, it went well. Just like they sleep in our room only ten feet further away. DS is still getting up twice to satisfy himself and DD slept from 9:30pm (grr...it was tough getting her to sleep last night - nothing to do with the new room, just too much light here in Alaska!) til 6:30am when she and DS got up to eat! It went so awesome!! They were totally ready and so was I. I didn't even go check on them til they 'wanted' me to. Anyway, here's to getting rid of the co-sleeper!

Woohoo - I'm glad it well so well for you. My kids all did well when we moved them into their own rooms, and I slept much better. I hope they keep it up for you!
