first night in crib

I put the girls in a regular crib last night. They have napped in there but never spent the whole night in one yet. I was happily using the pack-n-play in our room at night until Allie started scooting herself around the thing and ended up laying right next to Maddie. It made me a nervous wreak. They share a room with my 22mos old. So once I got her to bed I moved them on into the room. Well they must have really loved it because they never even woke up to eat. My DD woke us up at 4:30a so DH went in to get her and I was checking on the babies. They were sound to sleep. I ended up waking them to eat because it had been five hours and they are still so little. They went right back down afterwards and didn't wake up until 7:30! If my DD2 would have slept like normal my DH and I could have had some normal sleep.

That's great! I think being next to mom and dad is too tempting for them to stay asleep all night. Ours slept through better after moving in to their own room too!

 

Aww how cute! I miss those early days!!
