first kiss!

Tonight as DH and I were getting the babies ready for bed, each of us holding a baby, DD leaned over and gave her brother a big kiss on the mouth. She kept doing it again and again, and he kissed her back, and they were both grinning the whole time.

I've been waiting so long for this, too. Whenever I read stories about people's twins interacting with each other at 3 mo or 6 mo or whatever, I get so jealous. It's only in the last couple weeks that mine have finally started really interacting. They follow each other around, stick fingers in each others' mouths, reach out to touch hands at the table, imitate each other ("Oh yeah, banging the sippy cup on the table, I forgot all about that, thanks for reminding me!")... And now such sweet kisses! FINALLY!

My FAVORITE pics are of mine kissing each other. I can remember when they first kissed too, such a GREAT memory!!!! Wait until they want to hug each other :wub:

That is SOOOOO sweet! I can't wait until mine do that with each other. I thought it was going to happen earlier this week when Meara leaned close to Ana's face... but then she just decided to poke Ana in the eye instead. I don't know why.

Mine did that the other day for the first time!! I was so excited to see them do that. It's like "they like each other"!!!!

 

Awww kisses!! Haven't had that yet here, just hair pulling and laughing at eachother! Today they were in cahoots to NOT nap, and were standing up in their cribs (facing eachother) laughing and jumping around!!!

 

So sweet! You must have just melted.

So far, mine just giggle at each other, and then try to inflict damage, LOL.

 

CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!!! That would make a great picture! I am dying for mine to figure out kisses. I'm constantly in their faces saying "give mommy a kiss", I know I drive them crazy. So far, they lean in lovingly and then bite the heck out of my cheek. Oh well, maybe one day...
