So I went to see the high risk ob today and she was GREAT! I absolutly LOVE her. She is very detailed and really concerned about mine and the babies health. I learned alot to. You know I was diagnosed with Hoshimotos Thyroiditis right before I got pregnant and I had a thyroid scan a week before I found out I was pregnant. Well, the ob is concerned bc the raido isotope pill i had to take can actually kill the babies thyroids. She belives since I was only 2 weeks pregnant at the time and teh babies didnt actually have a thyroid that they may be okay. Anyways, she is sending me to a specialist in B'ham which is a 3 hour drive from here. I will be seeing him regularly till I have the babies since now i'm in the "extremely high risk" catogory. *sigh* The dr. was also very concerned about my health issues and how they would affect the babies...she said she will be working really closesly with my rhumetologist throughout this entire pregnancy. My BP was 160/100 and my HR was 150. They told me to rest as much as possible. And, I have an appt. with my Rhumetolgist friday and I am supposed to talk to him about all of this. He will also be monitoring me closely and rechecking my thyroid levels every so often to see how they will be affecting the babies. Supposedly your thryroid can really f'up the babies if its to out of wack. And i had an IUD ruptured my utuerus back in 2008....well the dr. said that their is a chance that that could happen again when the babies started getting bigger....they will def. be doing a c-sec bc of that reason even if they find the babies are in different sacs. My uturus is "damaged"...is what she said. I had a high resolution u/s this morning with a specialist to look for the membrane. It was a 2 hour transvaginal u/s YIKES lol He said he did see the membrane but he can't be 100% and the babies are sharing a placenta! I will be seeing my OB every 2 weeks until i get about halfway done then I will be going every week. I'm on bedrest now. Not strick bed rest but I'm not supposed to do anythign that raises my heart rate which is pretty much anything lol I am also very anemic so they gave me an iron shot and some pills to take yuck...here is the u/s pics..Baby A is measuring 10 weeks and 2 days with a HR of 175 and baby B was mearsuing 9 weeks and 6 days with a HR of 145. I got to see baby A kick baby B it was funny lol Baby A is head down and baby B is sidways.

So you know they are identical. :) Good thing they found a membrane. My friend was thought to be having mo-mo twins, but they found the membrane when she was 12+wks. Do you think two boys or two girls?

It also occured to me when I saw Bham you have to live in Alabama. I always go to type Bham and think oh wait others will not know I mean Birmingham. LOL I live in AL!! There are also some other girls on here I have met from AL, but not many at all. One girl we even had the same OB and live one town apart. I requested you as a friend on FB to. :)
