I can't for the life of me think of any unique father's day ideas right now for my huband's first. I'm pretty crafty but I'm drawing a blank. I was going to get a canvas and put some paint on the girls hands and feet and stamp the canvas for him, but don't know what kind of paint is safe for them and also think they might hate it. I'm just trying to think of something that will make him smile on his first Father's Day. Any ideas? He loves sports, and the Red Sox.

Do you have any Red Sox outfits for them? Maybe getting some cute pictures with them and framing it in one of those frames that have words on it.

My DH works in his office all day so I made him a collage mouse pad of the girls on www.snapfish.com. Also, I'm thinking of having the girls make him a card.. yes, well They won't know it!! but I think it will be cute to get a little bit of water color paints, put it on their hands and let them decorate a piece of paper ^_^

Not really any help but he sure must be a SUPER DAD if he is a SOX FAN!
    LOL
Good topic though, hope somebody actually has something constructive to add.

I'm putting together a memory card full of favorite photos and giving him a digi photo frame for his desk.

They actually sell t-shirt kits at walmart that say different things. I've gotten dh one that said "BEST DAD" on top, and then "HANDS DOWN" on the bottom and I put my first ds's hand prints (facing down of course), on it.

I think this year I'm going to line up the kids on the floor on a plain blanket or sheet, with their barefeet in a row (kids on their bellies), and take a picture of all their feet. Turn it black and white and either frame it or photoshop a frame onto the picture so he can take it to work.

My DH wants to put pavers down to make a path in the backyard, so I'm getting 2 stepping stone kits and making impressions of the boys' feet with their names on it. Speaking of which, I'd better get my butt in gear and head down to Michael's to buy them....
