Jacob and Noah were just dropped off for preschool. They will only be there a couple of hours today and tomorrow before they start longer days next week but, I am a weeping fool. At least, I held it together until I got out of the facility. Noah was crying and Jacob was doing fine. I am not used to giving my peanuts to someone else to take care off but, we start back to teaching in a week and I wanted them to have a week or so transition before it was full time.

Gosh, I did not think I would be this upset.

Sounds like a great plan for working up to it! Just think of how much they will have to tell you when you pick them up.

I hope they love preschool as much as K&K did, right this second we are listening to a cd Kyle's teacher made his first year of preschool. She put all their fav songs on a cd and gave it to them at the end of the year. We listen to it everyday and I am not at all joking!

Please let us know how it goes (for them and you!).

Aww, Melony, I know it's hard. :hug99: They are going to do great, you'll see. I hope you have a great school year. I will be asking for your advice, believe me, I'm going to need it!

Hang in there! We started in late June, and had two difficult weeks of crying and clinginess. Then things settled down, and now (a month later) they give a kiss goodbye, and they're off! And we feel like they've really taken off - learning new things and maturing very quickly in their new environment.

I can't believe it's so close to unpacking the classroom time! I'm not ready...

I wish I had found something. While I am sure it would be hard on them at first, I feel like it would be good for me!! :D I hope you do ok! :hug99:
