first day of nursery school without me disaster... help

we started young nursery last thurs..i stayed with the girls the whole time.. then tues i had to leave them.. the class was only 45 min and half the class was there they split them up so it wasnt overwhelming for the kids...well my lexie started flipping out after 5 minutes so bad that they had to call me in to sit on a chair..and then sophia started... it was horrible.. now i am nervous for tomorrow..b/c they are going to be screaming.. do they get over this or do i feel like a bad mommy putting them in so early..its only 2 hrs a day 2xs a week.. is there a light at the end of this tunnel

I don't have any advice, but I'm sure there are BTDT moms out there that can chime in. I just wanted to say, there's no pic attached.

 

My girls are younger than yours, so I don't have any real advice. I'm just wondering if maybe your girls aren't ready to be separated from their mom? If you don't need them to go to this school, perhaps give it six more months and then try again? If you need them to go, then I guess just keep trying. They'll get over their separation anxiety (at least that's what it sounds like when I read everyone else's posts)!

Are the school giving you pointers on who to handle the crying?
