You can do the number one, two peas in a pod, blue and pink, any character or color combination you want. All of these would be easy to find anywhere, even the net! GL :).

I found some cute stuff at Walmart for their first birthday. It was a #1 with a teddy bear, and lots of pastel colors. Cute and cheap!

I didn't really have a theme for my kids 1st birthday party. The invites were done in bold primary colors and I just went out and bought plates/cups/napkins in similar colors. I couldn't find any theme that I liked that wasn't either too femine or too masculine. For my kids 2nd birthday we are doing monkeys.

We are just going with a zoo theme - we are having their party at the zoo. So the invite has an elephant and giraffe, and the cakes will have an elephant on one and a giraffe on the other.

I just did a #1 theme. Cake in the shape of a #1, cards with #1 on them, etc. The theme was "Happy First Birthday!"

We were going to do prince and princess but changed our mind to the LiL' Cupcake... from 1stwishes.com We are going to do half the boy LiL' cupcake and half the girl LiL' cupcake plates and cups. We are going to have pizza, and a cupcake bar (where you can create your own cupcake like frosting/sprinkles/toppings. We are just going to get a couple of tables and use pink and blue table clothes (the plastic kind). A few balloons... and rent a bounce house for the older kids.
