First Birthday

    I would like to do a twins theme first birthday party, but need some ideas...please share!

    You want the theme to be "twins" or you're just looking for first birthday ideas for twins?

    We did a #1 theme. Their invitations had 1s on them, their cake was in the shape of a 1, etc.

    If you want the "twins" theme, there are usually lot of the "peas in a pod" supplies around. I didn't do a theme for their first birthday, last year we did animals, this year is ice cream!

    We did monkeys b/c we have always called them our little monkeys. We wanted to do something that wasn't a character as we know there will be many years ahead of them begging for the theme they want. People also like to do Dr. Seuss as a theme for twin birthday's b/c you can get shirts/onesies with "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" on them.

    The only thing I can find for twins is the "two peas in a pod" stuff. For my girls party we are doing a Yo Gabba Gabba theme. They love the show and it's a fun party idea.

    Thanks for the ideas! I was looking to more of a theme than a #1, but I didn't want to do a character as I know we will have plenty of those to come!

    My boys are turning one tomorrow :shok: and we're doing a "little prince" theme with plush crowns.
