We have 4 months until our twins' first birthday but I have already begun to think about themes. We have b/g twins and are having a party but I have NO IDEA what kind of theme to do. I like the prince/princess theme, and was also thinking about Pebbles and Bam-bam (flintstones) but thought that might be more fun for a 2nd birthday party.

I have done lots of searches on the internet and am looking for something unique, yet winter-friendly as their birthday is in December. I live in California in an area that does not get snow...but I need something that can be planned for inside just in case the weather is bad...any ideas???

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!

We just did everything in pink, and had a family only party. It wasn't that big, but we had a lot of fun, and had it indoors. Maybe someone else will have a better suggestion. Good luck, and let us know what you decide to do.

Our party theme wasn't unique or anything but we did Winnie The Pooh. :good: The kids really didn't show much interest at that time in what characters were there. :pardon: You can google some party websites and they'll show you alot of options for their party! Good luck! :)

We had an animal theme. The boys had cupcakes that we decorated like penguins (which they devoured) and the cakes we shared with our family were a cow theme and a pig theme. The decorations were giant 1 balloons and #1 decorations as well as a bunch of animals.

our theme is polka dots! The sky is hte limit on it too. They were wearing polka do outfits ( they're b/g too) the food will be polka dot (aka sandwhiches cut into circles, fruit salad made with a melon baller, polka dot cupcakes, etc.....) polka dot plates/cup/napkins.......

I was going to go with Two Peas in a Pod, but I think I might go with Sesame Street.

OMG, I did that for their 2nd bday and had really cute favors I made. PM me if you want details!

For their first bday we did Baby Einstein. Mostly stuff like the caterpillar was the cake, bright, bold colors...

We're doing a "cupcake" theme -- if you can call it a theme.
    I got my stuff here:

They have a lot of good ideas. I think I'm even going to brave making the "cupcake" shaped cake. (i'm SO not a baker).

Good luck with deciding on a theme!!
