Here is my dilemma! I thought we were solid on the theme for our 1st birthday in December! I thought we were going with the backyardigans. But now I am second guessing what we want to do. A lot of my friends have gone with themes. Yeah that’s easy they have one baby not a boy and a girl. So, I need some help what are BOY/GIRL Twin Themes for 1st birthdays? I am looking for something creative but yet easy enough that I can actually go to the Party Stores and buy stuff for. Help Please!

The funny thing is I'm actually sitting here brainstorming for my b/g twins bday party at the end of nov. I'm going with pink princess and blue prince theme. I'm just getting equal amounts of pink and blue things like plates, etc and then having some things on it that say princess and prince (like a banner for each). It can be inexpensive just buying plain pink and blue things with one or two items actually saying prince and princess.

I'm going to order mine out of this catalog I'm looking at which may be a bit more but their stuff is super cute. They have a website: www.1stwishes.com

I found some cute stuff at Walmart that was pastels, and had a big teddy bear with a number one. They had plates/cups/napkins/streamers/table decoration/table cloth/sign, and even high chair decorations! It was super cute and worked for our b/g twins!

Maybe Noah's Ark. Or I may just buy the boy and girl versions of the first birthday themed stuff they sell at Party Express (catalog). I still have 3 months to get ready, though. I do think Noah's Ark would be very, very cute for a b/g set of baby twins. It is probably harder to find birthday stuff for that, though. Most of it's probably shower stuff.
