i know this is a long way off, but i guess it qualifies for other holidays too. do you get both babies duplicate gifts, or do you try to get them totally different things??

Definately different presents... that way there are double the toys to play with.

Adult twins I've talked to said they pref'd getting different presents. Not that it matters at age 1, but still . . .

For their first birthday, we are planning on some bigger things they can share, like a sandbox, a child-size table and chairs, and a play tent. And that's just so far. DH's list keeps getting longer by the day!

I've already decided to have their own b-day moment. Since they are 32 min apart, one will get sung to and blow out candles. 32 min later, the other will get sung to and have their own candles to blow out.

Tell guests to be prepared to have two b-days :D

We are getting them different gifts...we have B/G so it will be easier, but I agree with PP different gifts = more toys to play with :) And I think it may help woth them learning to share...I could be wring with that though (mine are only 5 months right now!)
