    Hey all,

Next monday, I have another appointment with the Maternal Fetal Specialist and they told me that we will be able to find out the sex of the twins. Usually when does everyone find out about what they are having? When I had DS I found out at 22 weeks.

    Thank you

I was 18 or 19 weeks when I found out I was having twin girls. Around 14 or 15 weeks, my OB thought that she saw the infamous 3 lines, but she wouldn't confirm until a few weeks later!

    Good Luck!!

With my first son we didn't know until my 35wk ultrasound because they couldn't tell in the previous ones(personally my ultrasound tech was a real bag and I don't even think she tried) With my twins we found out somehwere between 18-20wks. I had so many ultrasounds I don't remember which one was which anymore :) best of luck

my sonographer took a sneak peak at 13 wks but wrong (thought she saw boy parts), then at 16 weeks, could see clearly that it was 2 girls.

I just had mine at 21w 5d and clearly saw 2 boys! They didn't try on any of the earlier u/s though.

The twins were a surprise, but I was able to tell my 16 months old was a boy at my 12 wk u/s. He wasn't shy at all. It turned out he had hip dysplasia and his ankles were resting on his shoulders, but it gave us a great view between his legs early on.

We were told that they *might* be girls at just over 13 weeks during our NT scan. Tech was pretty sure she saw the "3 lines" on both babies.

At our 17 week ultrasound, we found out they are both girls for sure!

I was 13 weeks and they have confirmed that each time since then (I always ask the u/s tech and the doctor).

At 16 weeks they were 85% sure baby A was a girl and unsure of B. At 18 weeks they were obviously both girls!

Although early ultrasounds aren't very accurate, they turned out to be right on for me! With my singleton son, the doc told us at 11 weeks he was 80% sure we were having a boy. With these twin boys, the ultrasound tech clearly showed us both sets of "family jewels" at 12 weeks. :)

I found out with my 1st at the big u/s at 19wks. I found out with my 2nd at 15wks.

This time I found out with the twins at almost 12wks. They were about 55/45 at almost 12wks they were both boys. Then at 14 wks they were about 90/10 sure they were boys. At my 18wk u/s they were 100% positive they were boys. I am 28+wks and they are still both boys. lol

I have my 12 week US a week from today so it's exciting for me to read how many of you found out that early. My twins are identical so I hope they'll be able to get a good look at one of them. I have a hunch but I'm dying to know if I'm right.

At my 13w u/s the tech told me she *thought* Baby B was a boy, looked a little thick between the legs. I took it with a grain of salt. At my 17w3d u/s they confirmed A was a girl and B was a boy, so the tech was right about that at 13w.

With my older 2 I found out around 19 weeks. With the twins, I found out at 15w5d (not sure about the days, but it was definitely 15 something) that one was a girl. The other one didn't want to show the goods but there was only one placenta so we knew the other had to be a girl, too. Our tech was 100% sure with each of my kids.

We didn't find out with our twins (or this new baby either) but we could have found out at 18wks with the boys and tomorrow is my u/s for this baby--24wks:) Good luck!

We never found out with our three older children and have decided not to for the twins as well. Will be able to find out really soon though. Best surprise ever!!!

We had an ultrasound done around 15 weeks to check for a shared placenta or fused placenta and our tech said that she was "pretty sure" that A was a girl and B was a boy but that it was still REALLY early and not to go paint the nursery yet. At our next ultrasound which was around 19 weeks, she confirmed it. And at every ultrasound we've had since we've confirmed it. :)

At 11w, an OB thought at least 1 was a boy and he was sucking his thumb. I was so miffed as I didn't want thumb suckers and according to the What To Expect books, he hadn't developed thumbs, yet!

He was right, though. I have a pair of boys who think pacis are for the birds and fingers (& toes) belong in mouths at all times!

With my oldest DD, we never did find out even though we had plenty of ultrasounds. I guess she was just shy. With the twins, they said one was a girl around 18 weeks. That is also when we found out they were twins. They could never tell both on the same ultrasound and they said that they might just be changing positions every time so we never really knew that they were both girls.
