Finally

So I will be 39 weeks tomorrow..dread. Good News: A doctor finally decided that I was pitiful enough to induce, so happy. He asked if 6 am was too early on Monday and I let him know it will do but I could come earlier if need be. haha He said that wouldn't be necessary. Should I know anything about being induced? I heard it could take awhile..but oh well. So happy..I hope this weekend goes by quick!!wish me luck!!!

Congrats on making it so far!!! I was induced and had a great experience, a very easy labor, the only part that was bad was the half hour between when my water broke and I got the epidural. In my siggie is a link to my blog which has my birth story that details out the entire induction process. Basically they started the pitocin at 3:15 p.m., "active labor" started at 10 pm when my water broke, and the babies were born at 4:30 a.m., so 13 hours overall, not too bad!

I was induced with all. I loved each moment of each birth. I chose the epi with everyone, and just enjoyed the whole time. They don't always take long, it could go quickly for you. I loved all the nurses stories. They can entertain if you get a good one, and want to hear the stories. My dh and I loved everybodies stories. Enjoy this time however you would like to spend your last baby free moments (while in bed hooked up to monitors ). Good luck.
