FINALLY, STTN SUCCESS!

    My boys have been going all night without feedings since around the 6 mo mark. However, they weren't "SLEEPING" through the night. We've been battling middle of the night wakings & early risings for what seems like FOREVER.

    Last Saturday we said enough was enough & went to 'total extinction' CIO. We had done CIO before, but it had never really worked with the interval method and then they'd get sick or we'd go somewhere or something would come up that we'd have to start all over (we'd start it in advance thinking we'd have time, but it was always taking too many nights).

    So, Saturday night through Wednesday night has varied in how they've went. Some nights were quiet until 5am. Other nights there were screams around midnight. Some nights it was both, others it was just Aiden (our troubled one).

    I worked last night, but am happy to report that DH was all smiles when I got home this morning.

    Apparantly, he woke to his ALARM at 6am without having heard a PEEP from the boys ALLLLL NIGHT! YIPPEE!!!! Being that it was night 6, I was getting so nervous CIO wasn't going to work (Conner has been STTN w/o a peep for the past 4 days) & we'd have to take Aiden to see the Neuro Sleep doc my Ped recommended. I'm PRAYING last night wasn't a fluke & that we'll have more sleepy nights to come!!!!!!

    Oh, to not be sleep deprived!!!!!!! How ideal will that be?????????

    Yeah for STTN! It scared me the first time I woke up to my alarm instead of a baby crying!! But then it's like "ahhhh, sweet sleep!"

    I am sooooo jealous! Sleeping all the way through the night seems so far away for me! Good luck to you and have sweet dreams for me...I will be thinking of you guys at 3am...sigh...
