Finally!!! We are sleeping through the entire night in our own cribs without waking up!! WAHOO!!! :D Our one boy wouldn't sleep through the night waking up, then staying up for an hour or so. So I would eventually put him in our bed. We spoke to Dr at our last visit & they recommended to let them cry, but to continue to check and make sure they are okay. So, I would go in lay him down with his bear to hug and leave. Let him cry a little and do it again. Amazing it only took one night! But that one night was all night of getting up & down up & down all night long!! But I never picked him up, only checked on him to make sure he didn't need anything. HOORAY!!!! It's been 3 nights of sleep!!!!

do your twins share a room? I'm having the same problem with my 7mth old twins. They were STTN for 2 weeks then the past 4night they started waking again, just crying for no reason. Now some nights they're back to taking a bottle. If they do share a room, nights that you let them cry for alittle before going in..did the sleeping baby wake up? My girls share a room so this is my concern if I were to let them cry alittle before going in.

yes they share a room. I made sure he was fully awake & crying not just moaning in his sleep. I peaked in his room & he was standing in his crib. Then I would go in and continuously lay him down for a bit. He would fall asleep for a little, then wake up and do it again. I would leave and come back just to check and make sure he was ok. All he wanted was me. so we repeatedly kept doing this and the next night he slept through. Last night he woke with a 101.9 fever and has an ear infection, but I still didn't reverse what we had just accomplished. I would stay in the room until he fell asleep. I do not want to have to go through that again! His brother moaned a bit like he could hear, but never fully woke up. He sleeps soundly, always has.

I'm just relieved that I am not the only mother with 8 month old twins who do not consistently sleep through the night. They've done 11.5 hours for weeks at a time but I cannot figure out the consistency and I just can't stomach the crying for more than 10 min. I'm feeling like a bit of a failure on the sleeping end of things but you have given me hope!
