Today I was playing with my boys and I realized there is nothing I would rather be doing. I can't believe I am finally thrilled with my life. In the beginning I questioned If I would ever adjust to being a Mommy. It was so hard and I was always exhausted. I never got a chance to enjoy them and now I do every day. I just wanted to write this to help all the new Mommies know that one day you are going to think "holy crap this is awesome!"

It IS awesome! I am so glad that you are finally able to enjoy them. I never thought I would be able to get through half of what I accomplished & it is so rewarding to watch those little faces smile :) Take lots of pictures because time does fly!

See! It DOES get better after 6 months! My favorite stage (so far) has been when they were 6-9 months. They were learning so much every day, yet they weren't too mobile yet! Enjoy this wonderful stage!

I liked the 9-12 month stage, but I'm absolutely LOVING the 18-24 month stage along with all of the tantrums and general crankiness. They're so much more fun and responsive IMO at this stage.

Aw i'm glad everything has fallen into place for you!! I'm having a really draining time right now and eveyrwhere you look people say "oh by 3 mths everything is hunky dory" ha not in our house i'm afraid! This gives me hope that things do get better and that life with twins isn't always perfect by 12wks old.

It's supposed to get better at 6 months. Why didn't I get the memo?

I"m happy you're seeing some positive changes. It's nice to be able to sit back and enjoy your time with the kiddies.

I also didn't think things were better at 12 weeks. I would say around 4 months on it got better and after 6 months it got a lot better. My favorite stage so far has been 9+months. I really think I like whatever stage they are in at the moment, though:) It's fun to see them growing and learning so much. Congrats on making it through the first 6 months. I never believed anyone when they said it got better. Now, I know what they were talking about. Whenever I run into other twin moms, they always say the same thing about it getting better at 6 months. I guess we all know something, huh?

Even though I am in the thick of it right now, I realized that I loved being a Mom and playing with the boys when I decided to stop pressuring myself about bf.

I cannot wait to see what the next stage brings our family.

I have to say that 3mths was better than 2mths, but things started to smooth out around 4mths and it's just now that we are really able to take the time to enjoy them at 6mths...also glad to know it gets better and better!
